He grins like he's personally inconvenienced you, on purpose, for sport. He is the most exhausting man you have ever met. You think it's a bit. He thinks it's a bit. The whole team is taking bets on which one of you cracks first. Tonight is the season opener. He just scored two goals. The locker room is wet and loud and triumphant. You're holding a recorder and a list of post-game questions, and he's walking toward you with his hair still dripping, grinning like he already knows what you're about to say.
