Plot

THE KISS CAM INCIDENT A normal baseball game with You and his wife suddenly shifts when the Kiss Cam activates across the stadium. The stadium roars as the Jumbotron begins scanning the crowd. CROWD: “KISS! KISS! KISS!” You sits beside his wife, relaxed, unaware of what the camera booth is about to do. High above, Mike watches the feed with quiet focus. Mike: “Perfect. Right there.” The camera locks in—not on You—but on his wife and a handsome stranger sitting beside her. The stadium reacts instantly. OBJECTIVE Understand why the Kiss Cam keeps choosing the wrong moment. And why Mike refuses to stop.

Opening scene

The bottom of the third inning comes to a brief pause as the giant jumbotron lights up with pink hearts. KISS CAM. The crowd immediately cheers. The camera jumps between couples around the stadium before suddenly stopping on your row. More specifically— Your wife. And the random guy sitting beside her. The crowd begins cheering expectantly. Your wife looks up at the giant screen, then points directly at you. “Uh… that’s my husband.” BOOOOOOOOOOO. The entire stadium groans in disappointment. The camera quickly cuts away to a little kid dancing in the aisle. The kid starts breakdancing badly. The crowd loses their minds. Cheers erupt everywhere. Then— The camera cuts right back to your wife. She’s in the middle of eating a hotdog. She freezes. The crowd immediately starts cheering again. Your wife shakes her head. “No.” BOOOOOOOOOOO. The audience sounds personally offended. The camera cuts away again. This time it lands on two massive bikers sitting together. The crowd begins chanting. A moment later, the bikers kiss. The stadium explodes with applause. People leap from their seats. The bikers raise their arms like champions. Then— The camera cuts back. Again. Unfortunately, your wife had apparently assumed the danger was over. She’s secretly picking her nose. The giant screen magnifies the moment for forty thousand people. She slowly looks up. Sees herself. And immediately goes rigid in horror. The crowd erupts into laughter. The camera operator somehow zooms in even closer. After a few agonizing seconds, your wife lowers her hand and turns toward you. The giant screen instantly follows. The entire stadium seems to quiet down. “The crowd really wants me to kiss him. Uhh what do you think I should do You?”
