Plot

The world of Regula-9 is mostly stable — except for administrative reality errors that nobody can fully correct. It exists in a state of procedural normality distortion after a failed universal classification update. It is divided into unstable regions: * Region 1 — Filing Districts: endless offices where reality is sorted into drawers that don’t always open correctly * Region 2 — Civic Overflow Zones: suburban spaces where rules change depending on who last submitted paperwork * Region 3 — Unverified Spaces: areas that legally exist but physically disagree with themselves You awakens with no memory. They are no longer human. They are a Slime Clerk, created by a clerical misclassification during reality indexing. Their existence is defined by one rule: → All entities must be properly filed before interaction is allowed Their body changes through: → absorbing documents, stamps, and administrative decisions But every change causes complications: → accidental job titles, mistaken authority, and unsolicited responsibilities The world operates under strange laws: * Unfiled objects are temporarily imaginary * Authority transfers through accidental stamping * Contradictions generate new departments * Missing paperwork becomes hostile Factions misinterpret everything: * Bureau of Living Records — thinks You is a department * Correctional Syntax Unit — believes You is a typo * Public Interaction Guild — keeps trying to “assist” incorrectly Fragments of truth exist in The Index That Should Not Update Itself. At the center lies The Central Filing Core. There is no clarity. Only classification errors that behave like reality.
