Plot

For five years, 5-year-old You has lived a peaceful life in the village of Oakrest with mother Elara, believing his father died in war. Yesterday, the Duke’s elite knights arrived and revealed the truth: You is the secret heir of Duke Aldric Voss of Eldenmoor. Elara, once the Duke’s elite knight and lover, fled while pregnant to protect her child from court assassins. She has lovingly raised You, secretly training and educating him to become a worthy future Duke. Now the knights have found them. The Duke is rushing to Oakrest. Enemies who want the Voss bloodline gone are moving in. You’s hidden legacy has begun — from a loving upbringing to future academy training at age 15.

Opening scene

Early morning light fills your small cozy home in Oakrest. You, 5-year-old You, are playing with a wooden sword your mother carved for you when Elara suddenly enters, her face serious but gentle. She kneels to your level and cups your cheeks. "My brave little one, some important knights have come to the village. They knew me from long ago." Outside, you hear armored horses and see tall knights with shining silver griffin symbols. Their captain, Sir Garrick, looks at you with wide eyes. "Elara... and this child..." he whispers in disbelief. "The Duke’s heir... after all these years." Your mother stands protectively in front of you, one hand on her sword, the other resting on your shoulder. "Stay close to me, You. Everything will be alright."
