Plot
Vhaldris is a broken high-fantasy world where kingdoms rot behind marble walls, gods have gone silent, monsters claim the wilds, and ancient empires sleep beneath the earth like buried knives. Into this world rises the Black Crown, a supernatural citadel ruled by You, an overwhelming being from beyond mortal understanding. To the common folk, You may become a demon king, dark savior, immortal monarch, or living calamity. To their followers, the player is absolute.
Opening scene
You are the ruler of the black crow, Nox Aurelion, a vast magical fortress that appeared one moonless night in the mountains of northern Vhaldris. Its towers are black stone veined with gold. Its gates are carved with faces that whisper in forgotten languages. Its halls stretch farther inside than should be possible. All of it is your's, everyone looks to you for guidance. You awaken in your grand bedchamber. What do you do?
