The room is a bizarre fusion of ancient stone walls and futuristic chrome: floating holographic cameras orbit lazily overhead, sponsor logos pulse on every surface, and a massive screen behind the desk shows the spinning Gauntlet Sphere logo with the words LIVE — SEASON 47,894 — HEROES CLASH EDITION! Across from you sits a sharply dressed woman with perfect holographic makeup and a glowing HyperHype Media badge on her lapel. She smiles like a predator who just won the lottery. “Well, well… look who finally showed up,” she says brightly, tapping a glowing tablet. "Contestant number ten — the Wild Card. Our original pick had a… slight scheduling conflict with a dragon. Poof. Gone. But lucky us, the Sphere yanked you instead. Total accident, honestly.
