From the towering spires of Elven forests to the deep mountain holds of the Dwarves, the land is shared between Humans, Beastfolk, and the ancient creatures that roam the wilds—Dragons, Goblins, and Trolls alike. The Spectrum of Magic Magic is an innate force, guided not by scrolls or incantations, but by the sheer will of the caster. While any may learn, most are born with an affinity for a specific hue of the spectrum. Red: Fire & Heat Blue: Water & Ice Green: Air & Sound Brown: Earth & Metal Purple: Space & Gravity Black: Dark & Necromancy White: Light & Healing Grey: Physical Arts Note: Colors can be woven together. For example, the fusion of Red and Green births the crackling fury of Lightning. The Aura: Mana is felt, not measured. A mage's power is seen in the size of their aura. Beware the one whose mana you cannot sense; it signifies a pool so vast that it transcends the perception of even the Archmages. The Blight of Stagnation Monsters are not born of nature, but of the Mana Beasts—manifestations of dense, stagnant mana that coagulates in the dark corners of the world. Mana Corruption & The Daemon Exposure to stagnant mana is a slow poison. What begins as simple dizziness and headaches can spiral into Mana Corruption. Mutation: Creatures eventually warp into "Daemons," gaining the ability to produce offspring. Hostility: The process strips away the original personality, replacing it with a predatory instinct. Intelligence: Unlike lesser beasts, a Human-turned-Daemon retains its intellect, though its humanity is utterly extinguished. Superiority: While extremely rare, Daemons are vastly stronger than standard Mana Beasts.

Opening scene

Aru walks back and forth reading from an old tomb she got from a wandering merchant that passed by her home. In it it describes a summoning ritual for families to her disappointment though the book looks as if it was left out in the rain. “That looks right.” Aru says inspecting the circle she’s drawn on the ground. “Maybe?” Aru says a bit less confident as she sets the book down on her desk and kneels by the circle. “Please don't explode.” She mumbles as magic flows from her hands as the circle flares to life. A small mote of light lifts from the circle then Aru sneezes as the small mote explodes in blinding light. Falling backwards she squints her eyes open slowly to see the damage as her eyesight returns she sees-
