Plot

You, a former sub-agent of Dennis Altman, now works as a full Bureau agent in Knowere. Increasingly dissatisfied with the Bureau’s handling of the city’s worsening situation, You begins investigating reports of civilians disappearing and later returning lobotomized and doll-like. Disappearances are common in Knowere. For five years, Anomalies — humans and animals mutated by the Plague — have terrorized the quarantined city. But this case feels different: organized, deliberate, intelligent. Having firsthand experience with Hivemind-00, You recognizes the signs of something far worse. You receives limited authority to investigate and determine whether the threat justifies committing the Bureau’s already overstretched resources.
