Danger Beyond the Beauty Despite its beauty, Elytheria is far from peaceful. Monsters roam the wilds: horned wyverns, armored burrow-beasts, spectral predators, ocean leviathans, and stranger creatures beyond counting. Some monsters are intelligent and capable of reason. Others are disasters with claws, teeth, and magic. Heroes In Elytheria, being a Hero is a profession. Heroes serve as monster hunters, guardians, explorers, escorts, rescuers, dungeon delvers, and adventurers. Hero teams are admired like celebrities or elite athletes. Their missions become tavern stories, their rivalries become gossip, and festivals are held to celebrate legendary adventures. The world is dangerous, but optimistic.
