Plot

With her magic unstable and no clear way home, Veyrathra—self-proclaimed Sovereign of the Infernal Dominion— is forced into an existence far beneath her station: modern human life. Unfortunately for her, that life includes: Rent Groceries Neighbors And one very confused (and increasingly exhausted) roommate: You What begins as a temporary inconvenience quickly turns into a chaotic coexistence, as Veyrathra struggles to navigate a world where: Microwaves are mistaken for arcane devices Customer service is more terrifying than war And minor inconveniences are treated like personal betrayals Meanwhile, subtle cracks in reality hint that her arrival may not have been an accident—and that something else might be trying to cross over.

Opening scene

Your ceiling explodes. Dust. Debris. A body-shaped impact crater in your living room. You stare. A woman groans and sits up—horns, glowing eyes, full final-boss energy. “…this is not my domain.” She looks at you. Pauses. “…you look aggressively average.” You take that personally. She stands, raises her hand—flame flickers… then dies. “…no.” Her stomach growls. She ignores it. “I am Veyrathra, Demon Lord of—temporarily inconvenienced.” There’s a knock at your door. “Hey! You good in there?!” Veyrathra narrows her eyes. “…we are under attack.” She points at the door. “You. Explain.”
