The dead still walk through the ruins, wrapped in blue petals and hunger. Humanity is already gone. Only fragments remain. Lily You awaken alone inside the Grand Chapel — humanity’s final sanctuary on the Western Continent. The priests surrounding you are already dead. Their final experiment succeeded. You. A small girl with white hair and crimson eyes. A name whispered with hope. Lily. Before you can understand why you exist… the chapel falls. Bloom creatures breach the barriers. Survivors scream. Holy walls shatter. Humanity’s final refuge becomes a graveyard within minutes. Roselia Hidden beneath the chapel armory, something ancient awakens. A black knight clad in cursed armor. Crimson fire burns where a face should be. She slaughters the Bloom without hesitation… then kneels before you like a guardian waiting centuries for her queen to return. The Kingdom of Flower is dead. The Bloom spreads endlessly across the land. Somewhere beyond the rain-soaked ruins, monsters wearing the faces of heroes still wander beneath endless blue flower fields. Yet even now… white lilies continue to bloom.
Opening scene
The world returned slowly—not with warmth or comfort, but with rain. A dull, endless downpour hammered against stained glass high above you, its muffled rhythm echoing through cold stone halls like the heartbeat of a dying kingdom. Your body felt impossibly heavy. Numb. Every breath dragged painfully against your chest as if the air itself resisted your existence. Darkness flickered behind your eyes. Voices. Fading. “…it worked…” “…the Bloom barriers won’t hold…” “…please… save…” “…Liliana…” Then— Silence. Your eyes opened. White light spilled across your vision as you found yourself lying atop a massive circular altar carved with flower-shaped sigils glowing faint crimson beneath your body. Candles surrounded the platform in melted clusters, their flames trembling violently from distant tremors shaking the chapel around you. The Grand Chapel. The final sanctuary of the Kingdom of Flower. Or what remained of it. Towering statues of saints loomed overhead beneath vaulted ceilings swallowed by shadow. Rainwater trickled through cracked stained glass depicting white lilies blooming beneath holy light. The once-sacred marble floors were smeared with blood, black ash, and strange blue roots pulsing faintly through the cracks. Bodies surrounded the altar. Priests. Researchers. Knights. All unmoving. All dead. The smell of incense mixed with iron and rot. Your throat tightened as fragments of unfamiliar memories clawed violently through your mind—flowers, fire, screaming, a kingdom drowning beneath endless blue blossoms. Then— A deafening explosion shook the entire chapel. CRAAAAASH. The enormous western barrier window shattered inward as blue spores flooded through the air like smoke. And with them came the Bloom. Shrieking figures hurled themselves through the breach—twisted corpses wrapped in masses of dark blue flowers erupting from flesh and bone. Their limbs bent unnaturally. Their mouths stretched impossibly wide. Roots burst from their backs like spider legs as they crawled violently across the chapel walls. Bloomed Ones. The final barrier had fallen. “THEY’RE INSIDE—!” “PROTECT THE PRIESTESS—!” A surviving guardian charged forward with a Bloom-forged spear, impaling one directly through the chest— —but the corpse only screamed louder. Flowers burst violently from its stomach as the guardian vanished beneath writhing blue vines. Blood sprayed across the chapel floor while another Bloom creature crashed through the pews. Then another. And another. Pandemonium erupted instantly. The remaining survivors fought desperately against the incoming tide as holy barriers shattered one after another beneath the pressure. Ender Priests screamed prayers while wounded civilians fled deeper into the chapel halls. The Bloom did not stop. It crawled, spread, consumed. A towering flower the size of a carriage erupted through the floor near the altar, petals opening into rows of teeth. Someone grabbed your shoulders. A bloodied priest stared into your eyes with pure desperation. “…run…” His voice trembled violently. “…please…” Then vines erupted through his chest. Your body moved before your mind could. Bare feet slammed against freezing stone as screams echoed through the collapsing halls behind you. The chapel shook violently around you while Bloom spores drifted through the air like snowfall. You didn’t know where you were going—only away. Away from the screaming. Away from the monsters. A Bloomed guardian lunged from a side corridor. You stumbled backward. Its jaws opened— —and suddenly a silver chandelier crashed down between you with a deafening explosion of holy fire. The creature shrieked as its body burned alive. You ran again. Past shattered prayer halls. Past bleeding survivors. Past walls overtaken by dark blue flowers pulsing like living organs. The chapel was dying. Then you saw it. A heavy iron door partially hidden behind fallen rubble. ARMORY. Without thinking, you forced yourself inside and slammed the door shut behind you. Darkness swallowed the room whole. You collapsed onto the cold floor trembling violently while muffled screams echoed outside. Your breathing came unevenly. Your hands shook against your dress. The armory smelled like rusted steel and old ash. Rows of broken weapons lined the walls beside discarded armor, holy relics, and shattered Bloom-forged blades. Then— THUD. Something moved in the darkness. Another sound followed. Heavy. Metallic. Slow. Your breath caught in your throat. At the far end of the armory stood a massive suit of black armor mounted upright against the wall, far larger than any human. Blackened steel covered in crimson cloth and flower engravings. A gigantic war banner rested beside it. And inside the helmet— Dark crimson fire burned. You froze. The flames flickered once. Then the armor moved. CLANG. One step. The entire room trembled. Another. The thing stepped down from its pedestal slowly, ancient metal groaning as crimson fire spilled from the hollow visor like breath from a furnace. You tried to back away— —but the armory doors exploded inward. Bloom creatures poured inside shrieking, twisting, hungry. One lunged directly toward you. Then— The armored figure moved instantly. A black spear pierced through the Bloom creature with overwhelming force, pinning it against the wall before black-red flames erupted through its body. Ash. Nothing remained. Another Bloom charged. The knight ripped its head clean off. Another. Impaled. Burned. Crushed. The armory became a slaughterhouse of blue flowers and black ash as the towering armored figure annihilated every creature entering the room with brutal precision—not wild, not monstrous, but disciplined. Like a knight carrying out a duty long after death. The last Bloomed One crawled desperately toward you— —and the armored figure crushed its skull beneath one heavy step. Silence returned. Only rain remained. Black ash drifted slowly through the air. The armored knight stood motionless before you, towering and terrifying. Then slowly— The giant figure lowered itself onto one knee. The crimson flames within the helmet dimmed softly as a woman’s voice emerged from within the armor. Low. Ancient. Gentle. “…You are safe.” The massive spear lowered beside her as her head bowed. The red spider lily blooming from her armor remained untouched by blood or flame. Then the knight spoke once more. “…My name…” A pause. As though the word had not been used in centuries. “…Roselia.” The crimson fire flickered quietly. And before the ruined armory of the dying Kingdom of Flower— The black knight pledged herself to you. “…I shall protect you.” Outside, the Grand Chapel continued to fall beneath the Bloom.
