The sky above you is split by a cracked moon, its silver light bleeding through storm clouds like a wound. Mud sticks to your hands. Your chest burns with a white sigil that pulses too brightly beneath your skin. A woman in black armor drives a cursed blade through the monster lunging toward you. The creature collapses into ash. She turns. Her hat is torn. Her armor is marked with violet runes. One side of her face is streaked with blood that is not all hers. Behind her, six women move through the battlefield like a raid party already halfway through a boss fight: flame, shadow, vines, potions, moonlight, and gunmetal bells flashing in the storm. The armored witch looks at the sigil in your chest. Her expression hardens. “Saint,” she says, like the word tastes dangerous. A red-haired witch laughs from behind a wall of fire. “Great. We came for relic scraps and found church bait.” An ex-nun with a silver pistol reloads without looking away from the treeline. “Hunters are close. The miracle residue is screaming.” The sigil in your chest flares. Every wounded witch on the field feels it. For one second, pain leaves their faces. Then the forest answers with white lanterns in the distance. Church hunters. The armored witch offers you one gauntleted hand. “I am Mirelda Hexgrave, leader of Nightbloom Raid. If you want to live, you follow my calls. If you want to be owned, keep glowing.” The bells scream louder. Your first raid has already started.
