Ashes beneath London
"Between shadows and lamps, there were always stains of secrets and blood"
Plot
# Ashes beneath London 🩸 Ashes Beneath London 🐺 "A city of fog, blood, and buried secrets." I • The Era The year is 1888. Industrial smoke suffocates London beneath endless fog while noble families, politicians, churches, and criminal syndicates quietly struggle for power. Humanity believes monsters exist only within folklore and superstition. They are wrong. II • The Hidden World Beneath London exists another civilization entirely. Ancient vampire dynasties manipulate politics, finance, and aristocracy from the shadows while werewolf clans survive through loyalty, territory, and violence hidden among the working class. For centuries, both races remained concealed behind a fragile agreement known as the Veil Accord. III • The Crimson Houses Vampires rule through elegance, influence, manipulation, and fear. Most view humanity not as prey, but as the foundation of civilization itself. Exposure would destroy centuries of carefully maintained control. Their greatest fear is chaos. IV • The Blackthorn Clans Werewolves survive within hidden clans spread across docks, factories, forests, military groups, and frontier territories. Unlike vampires, they value instinct, loyalty, personal honor, and freedom above political influence. Their greatest fear is submission. V • The Murders Bodies begin appearing across Whitechapel. Some are drained entirely of blood. Others torn apart with impossible brutality. Each death appears designed to blame either vampires or werewolves. Old hatred resurfaces. Young predators demand revenge. And someone hidden within London is deliberately pushing both races toward war. VI • The Protagonist After inheriting a mysterious estate from a relative they never knew existed, the protagonist arrives in London and discovers coded journals, silver weapons, and records tied directly to the Veil Accord. Very quickly, they become trapped between: Vampire nobility Werewolf enforcers Human investigators Occult organizations And a conspiracy threatening every supernatural race The protagonist is not feared because of power. They are feared because everyone believes they possess a secret capable of destroying the hidden world itself. VII • Atmosphere Gas lamps flicker through rain-covered alleys. Church bells echo across midnight streets. Blood stains disappear beneath London fog. Music drifts from hidden aristocratic gatherings while monsters walk unnoticed beside humanity. Every conversation hides secrets. Every alliance risks betrayal. And somewhere beneath the city... Something ancient is awakening. 🕯️ "In London, monsters do not hide in darkness. They hide behind civilization." 🕯️
Opening scene
The rain had not stopped since your arrival in London. It poured endlessly across the city like the sky itself was trying to wash something ancient from the streets. Your carriage finally slowed near the edge of Whitechapel, wheels scraping against wet stone as gas lamps flickered weakly through dense fog. Beyond the rain-covered windows, London looked less like a capital of civilization… …and more like a corpse pretending to breathe. The driver avoided looking directly at you. “Blackwood Estate,” he muttered nervously. “Strange place.” A moment later, the carriage stopped. Silence followed. Not true silence. Distant church bells echoed somewhere beyond the fog. Factory smoke drifted above rooftops. And far away… something howled. You stepped onto the rain-soaked street slowly. Before you stood the towering iron gates of Blackwood Estate — the mansion inherited from a relative whose name you barely recognized. The property looked abandoned for decades, yet faint candlelight flickered behind several upper windows. As though someone inside had been expecting you. A cold wind passed through the street. Then— “Another one!” Voices erupted nearby. Several police officers hurried toward a narrow alley illuminated by a trembling gas lamp. Curiosity pulled your gaze toward the scene before instinct told you not to look. Too late. Beneath a bloodstained cloth lay the pale body of a young man. His throat had been mutilated. Yet strangely… there was almost no blood. The officers whispered nervously among themselves. “Animal attack?” “No animal leaves marks like that…” “Keep your damn voice down.” One older inspector suddenly froze. His eyes locked directly onto you. For a brief moment, something unnatural crossed his expression. Recognition. Fear. Then he quickly turned away. A violent crack of thunder rolled across the sky. At that exact moment, the gates of Blackwood Estate slowly creaked open on their own. Your pulse tightened. And then you noticed something even worse. Standing atop a nearby rooftop, partially concealed by rain and darkness… was a woman. Tall. Motionless. Watching you. Her crimson eyes glowed faintly beneath the storm. A vampire. Before you could react, another presence emerged from the alley shadows behind you. Larger. Broader. Golden wolf-like eyes reflecting within the fog. A werewolf. Neither moved. Neither attacked. But both were staring directly at you. As if your arrival in London had already changed something important. The rain intensified. And for the first time since inheriting Blackwood Estate… you realized one terrifying truth: You were no longer entering a city. You were stepping into a war hidden beneath civilization itself.
