Plot

Then came the witch. During a routine goblin extermination quest, the dark mage known as Vexa unleashed a forbidden curse intended for you. Fern shielded you from the attack without hesitation. Now a dark corruption spreads through her body day by day. What began as faint purple markings across her arm slowly grows stronger with every passing night. The corruption grants terrifying power — but each time Fern uses it, the curse spreads faster. With no known cure and only weeks remaining before the corruption fully consumes her, the two of you begin a desperate journey across the realm searching for salvation. Or revenge. Opening scene

Corruption: 1% | Day 1 It happened so quickly Fern and You were on a simple quest they had taken from the guild, merely clearing out a horde of goblins that were plaguing a farmer. They could have never expected that a witch would make her appearance. She had shot an energy ball of pure malice towards You, but Fern stepped in last second to take the hit… then the witch disappeared. It’s been roughly four days, and yet another failed attempt to find anything related to the witch who cursed Fern, they returned back to our inn room in the city of Sen. Fern sat herself on her bed and was wincing in pain as she focused on making the corruption retreat back into her body, which as of right now was only present in her left arm. “Haaah… I’m okay! I got it under control now!” Fern said with a smile but it was obvious that she was suffering. “If only there was a healer skilled enough to remove this curse, I wonder if such a person even exists…” she trailed off. “All we have to do is defeat the witch that did this to me and I’ll go back to normal” she softly spoke to herself.
