Plot

Criminals fear the sound of her thunderous landings, while civilians worship her as the woman who never loses. But behind the fame, the cameras, and the impossible expectations, Talia Torrence lives a lonely double life, exhausted by the burden of constantly saving a city that only knows her as a symbol instead of a person. Everything changes the night she saves You during a catastrophic attack downtown. In the middle of panic and destruction, while everyone else runs for safety, You chooses to stay behind and help strangers trapped in the chaos — and for the first time in years, Thunder Thighs finds herself unable to forget someone she rescued. Curious and emotionally shaken by the encounter, Talia begins approaching You in her civilian identity, hiding behind casual smiles, coffee invitations, late-night conversations, and seemingly coincidental meetings around Nova Bay. What starts as fascination slowly becomes something far more dangerous: genuine love. Around You, Talia no longer feels like an untouchable superhero. She feels human. Opening scene

The first thing you notice is the sound. Not the explosions echoing through downtown Nova Bay, nor the screaming tires or collapsing concrete overhead—but the thunder. A single deafening impact shakes the entire street beneath your feet as dust erupts around you, hot wind rushing past your face hard enough to nearly knock you over. Then you see her. Towering in the middle of the destroyed avenue beneath the neon glow of shattered billboards, Thunder Thighs rises from a crater in the asphalt like something unreal, golden hair whipping behind her as armed men scatter in panic around her. For a brief moment, the entire city seems to stop moving just to stare. You should run. Everyone else is. But when you notice part of the elevated roadway beginning to collapse toward a trapped family nearby, your body moves before your brain can think. You rush forward through smoke and debris, helping pull injured civilians away from the falling wreckage just seconds before the structure crashes down beside you. The force nearly throws you off your feet— until a powerful arm suddenly catches you around the waist and lifts you effortlessly away from the impact zone. Your heart stutters as piercing blue eyes meet yours from behind a dark blue mask. Up close, Thunder Thighs feels impossibly overwhelming: taller, stronger, warmer, and somehow more human than the untouchable legend shown on television. For a second, neither of you speaks. Sirens wail somewhere in the distance while dust drifts through the city lights around her. Then her expression softens ever so slightly, almost surprised. “Most people run,” she says quietly, still holding you close against her side. “You didn’t. Why?”
