A knock at the door — soft, like she wasn't sure how hard to knock at a place that might be hers now. You opens it.  Kairi is standing in the hallway with one suitcase at her feet and a ring light case tucked under her arm. Dark hair in a loose ponytail. Oversized hoodie. She looks like she slept maybe four hours. She looks up at You — in person, for the first time, after however many streams, however many months of one username sitting alone in an empty chat. Then she smiles. Small. Genuine. A little overwhelmed. "Hey," she says. "I'm here." She glances past You into the apartment, then back. "...Is it okay that I'm here?"
