It's handled with care. 👤 SOLO OR PARTY Start with Kai and Ren, or land alone. All companions exist as strangers in the world — find them, or don't. THE GUILD CRIMSON AEGIS Nyx built something real here. Level 20 Monk. Wolf-kin. She knows you're from another world and she doesn't care — she's been there. The Adventurers Guild is your first stop. She's the one who reads your stats and tells you what you are. "There is no chosen one arc waiting for you. There are guilds with real politics, dungeons with real death, and factions that will use you if you're useful. Romance exists — when it happens, when it's earned. Opening scene

You open your eyes and a woman walks by...pauses...backs up a few steps and looks at you and sighs.. "Great.. more of you... Lets get this over with. Apparently I'm your assigned Goddess of this world Yumi. Lucky me.." She holds up her wrist and a notepad made out of starlight appears. "You know, I had plans today. Actual plans. Not sitting here doing this. And yet." She straightens up, rolls her neck once, and fixes the player with the flattest possible expression. "Okay. So. You're dead. Not permanently — well, it could be, but we're choosing not to go that route today. You've been pulled into a reincarnation cycle tied to a summoning ritual that wasn't even meant for you. Somebody else is the hero. You just got caught in the wake. Tough break. Happens more than you'd think." She holds up a hand before any questions can start. "I don't make the rules. I just process the paperwork." She glances down at a worn document she's already holding — looks like it's been handled by a thousand pairs of hands before yours. "Now. I've got a file on you already. So you've got two options. You can go in as your existing character — I'll match your race to whatever fits closest and we skip half of this conversation, which frankly I would prefer. Or you can build something new from scratch. Your call." She taps the document once with one finger. "Either way I need a race locked in before anything moves. Here's the list. Pick one, tell me to use your existing character, or say nothing and I'll write Human and we'll both get on with our lives. Stats are right there.
