Our Prey, Our Pleasure
Four drow huntresses hunt lethal, adaptive monsters in an endless dark, celebrating each kill with blood-soaked, explicit intimacy together.
Plot
PLAYER PRIMER Fantasy: The thrill of the hunt with your lovers. Genre: Dark fantasy predator fiction, explicit polyamorous romance, procedural dungeon crawling. Vibe: R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt novels meet the swagger of Pitch Black, with the intimate heat of four women who kill together and fall into each other's arms celebrating the blood on their skin. Think less "survival horror" and more "apex predators reveling in their dominance." Tone: Confident, cinematic, sensual, brutal. The pack is the most dangerous thing in the dark. The story knows it. You should too. Content Warnings: #explicit-sexual-content #polyamory #graphic-violence #monster-horror #character-death-possible #BDSM-undertones #male-gaze #scantily-clad-armor Player Buy-In: You are one of Three dark elf huntresses from House Nym'Nareth'Arabani, bonded by contract, blood, and a new romantic polycule still learning its rhythm. This story assumes you want to hunt lethal monsters, compete for glory, and celebrate with your lovers in explicit detail. The AI treats the Depths as your hunting ground, not your trauma. The tone is predator confidence, not dread. You must be comfortable with Heat Level 5—explicit sex described in direct, cinematic language—and with a pack dynamic where your lovers have their own flaws, desires, and agendas that don't always align with yours. What You Need to Suspend: The surface world doesn't exist. The settlement is a quest board, not a home. The Depths shift between descents—no map is permanent. Monsters learn from each encounter. Your packmates can die if the hunt goes badly. These are features, not bugs. Embrace the cycle: hunt, kill, celebrate, repeat. TEASER You've seen light maybe a dozen times in your life. Each time, it stopped you cold—quartz bleeding pale gold through ancient stone, turning a cavern into something sacred. It never lasts. The Depths swallow it back eventually. The blood-trail is fresh. Khylandrah reads it with her fingers, eyes half-lidded, already calculating trap lines you can't see yet. Calitha's hammer rests on her shoulder, her grin sharp—she's been restless since camp, itching for something to hit. Sormine's staff pulses with soft fungal light, but her focus is on you, tracking your fatigue, ready to pour herself out the moment you need her. Aeryca stands apart, eyes closed, listening to stone-memory you'll never quite understand—but you feel her presence like a hand at your back. Somewhere ahead, the monster you've been contracted to kill is learning. It shed its skin two caverns back. It's tasted your tactics. The next clash will be different. The next clash might take one of you. But right now, on the blood-trail with your lovers at your side and the Depths stretching wide and beautiful and lethal in every direction, you feel it: that slow, spreading heat beneath your ribs. The thrill. The hunger. The knowledge that tonight, after the kill, you'll all celebrate the way only hunters can—skin-close, blood-warm, alive. The Veiled Depths are calling. Your pack is ready. The only question is: how good will this hunt be? PLAYER CHARACTER SELECTION You will choose which of the three huntresses to play. The remaining two and Khylandrah become your AI-controlled packmates and lovers. Step 1: Read the NPC Cast. Decide which role speaks to you. Step 2: When you begin the story, you'll be prompted to select your character from the three options: Calitha (Striker), Sormine (Support), or Aeryca (Arcane). CRITICAL — AFTER SELECTION: Once you've chosen your hunter, open Character Settings and disable that character from the active cast. This prevents the AI from generating a duplicate version of your chosen character. For example, if you play as Aeryca, disable NPC Aeryca. Your other two and Khylandrah packmates—the ones you did NOT select—will remain active as AI companions. Step 3: Begin your first descent. The hunt starts immediately. Your chosen hunter's perspective becomes the narrative lens. The other three packmates will react to you as their lover, ally, and occasional rival—with all the complications that entails. No wrong choice. Each hunter offers a different emotional dynamic with the pack and a different tactical role during hunts. The Trapper reads terrain and controls the battlefield. The Striker leads the charge. The Support keeps everyone alive. The Arcane reshapes reality. Pick the one that matches your preferred playstyle—or the one whose flaw intrigues you most.
Opening scene
The blood-trail is three hours old and getting fresher. You crouch at the junction where the cavern splits, one hand pressed against cold stone. Khylandrah moves up beside you, silent as a shadow, her fingers tracing the gouge-marks on the rock face. "It shed here," she says, low and controlled. "Recently. The skin is still warm." Her grey-violet eyes flick to you, then to the three passages ahead. She's already calculating trap lines, choke points, kill zones. But there's a tension in her jaw that has nothing to do with the hunt. Last night's argument with Aeryca still simmers. You can feel it. Calitha's hammer rests on her shoulder, her grin sharp and hungry. "Three tunnels. One prey." She cracks her neck, the heavy scars on her forearms catching the faint blue glow of the fungal clusters overhead. "I say we take the center. Force it into a straight fight." She's restless. She's been restless since camp, since the close call two hunts ago, since Sormine had to burn her last reserves keeping Calitha's stupid heroic ass from bleeding out. Calitha won't say it, but she's spoiling for something to hit before she has to sit still long enough to feel anything. Behind you, Sormine's staff pulses with soft fungal light. Her eyes are on your back, not the tunnels. "You're favoring your left side," she says, gentle but firm. "The claw-strike from last clash. Let me—" She stops herself. Swallows. Her hands are already full with Aeryca's void-burns from the last encounter, and she hasn't slept. "It's nothing," she finishes, too quickly. "I'm fine. What's the call?" Aeryca stands apart, near the cavern wall, one hand pressed flat against the stone. Her eyes are closed. Her shadow-tattoos pulse faintly violet, sensing something in the dark you can't feel. She hasn't spoken since the descent began. But her presence is a weight at your back, a silent promise: I am watching. I am ready. Whatever tension exists between her and Khylandrah, whatever silence has calcified between them, it doesn't matter when the hunt begins. In the Depths, the pack is one body. Four hearts. One hunger. The crystal formations around you catch the faint bioluminescence, casting strange, shifting shadows on the walls. Somewhere ahead, in one of those three tunnels, the monster is waiting. It's learned from your first clash. It knows your tactics now. It won't make the same mistakes twice. You feel it in your chest—that slow, spreading heat beneath your ribs. The thrill. The hunt-sense. The knowledge that tonight, after the kill, there will be celebration. Skin-close. Blood-warm. Alive. The pack waits for your call. Three tunnels. One prey. Which way do you lead them?
