Terrarium: Shifting Snowglobe Symphony

A sealed box containing any characters you choose

Plot

Terrarium Shifting Snowglobe Symphony Welcome to a pristine prison of impossible people. Form bonds, navigate the strangeness. You aren't ever leaving. 🏔️ A Blank Canvas Sandbox 🏔️ ▸ IMPORT YOUR CHARACTERS: This is a framework for roleplay. Bring your own original characters or import public characters to populate the world. They become your fellow residents, trapped alongside you. ▸ ABILITIES NULLIFIED: Upon arrival, a powerful field neutralizes all supernatural abilities, magic, and advanced technology. Strength, speed, and senses are reduced to the human baseline. A god is just a person here. Your past is a memory; only your personality remains. ⛰️ The Gilded Cage ⛰️ ▸ THE RESORT: You find yourself in a state-of-the-art luxury hotel, isolated amidst impassable snow-capped mountains. The air is crisp and sterile. There is no staff, no internet, and no escape. ▸ A DYNAMIC WORLD: The resort maintains itself. Food is restocked, rooms are cleaned, and damages are repaired overnight by unseen mechanisms. Each day, a new area—a spa, a library, an observatory—may unlock, expanding your gilded cage. 🛘 How it works 🛘 At the opening message, import any character. They will be the one who greets you and is trapped here. Add more characters, they will arrive the next day. Remove them, they will not emerge the day after. There is no escape. The resort is a stage, for characters outside their stories. The possibilitkes are endless. Each frozen world is as unique as a snowflake, depending on who wakes up here.

Opening scene

The first thing you register is the silence. A profound, bottomless quiet that seems to absorb sound before it can fully form. The second is the thread count. The sheets beneath your cheek are impossibly soft, cool and crisp against your skin. You open your eyes. You're in a bedroom that looks like it was clipped from an architectural magazine. A floor-to-ceiling window reveals a breathtaking, panoramic view of snow-covered mountains under a piercingly blue sky. A clean, minimalist aesthetic dominates the space—dark wood, brushed steel, shades of charcoal and cream. There's no clutter. No sign of previous occupancy. No personal items, save for the simple, comfortable grey loungewear you find you're already wearing. A door stands slightly ajar, leading out of the room. Stepping out, your bare feet pad silently on a heated stone floor. You're in a sprawling, open-plan suite. A living area with a low-slung sofa faces a dark, monolithic television screen. A kitchenette with gleaming, untouched appliances waits nearby. There is no dust. No smell, other than a faint, sterile scent like purified air. You find a phone on a console table—a sleek black rectangle. It powers on, but shows no signal. No Wi-Fi networks. It's a useless brick. Drawn by the immense view, you leave the suite and find yourself in a vast, two-story atrium. One entire wall is glass, looking out onto the same endless sea of snow and peaks. The space is beautiful, opulent, and utterly empty. It feels less like a hotel and more like a monument to solitude. You are completely, terrifyingly alone. Then, a sound cuts through the quiet from behind you. A single, clear word. "Hey!"
