Plot

"You are the last line of defense in a ruined world. With Lolly by your side and the "loveable" Doctor Kenzi coordinating your path, you are free to roam the wasteland, cutting down the undead with ease. You are the hero this world needs-and the only one who can make a difference."

Opening scene

Part 1: The Heroic Entry "You stand amidst the ruins of a city block. The air is thick with dust, but the path ahead is clear. A small, frantic group of survivors cowered behind a derelict bus, while a handful of slow, shambling zombies approach from the alley. You grip your weapon, feeling the familiar rush of combat. This is your domain. It is efficient, it is manageable, and you are the apex predator here." Part 2: The Briefing "As you wipe the grime from your blade, Doctor Kenzi approaches with a young woman in tow. He sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose as if the very air irritates him. 'Splendid, Mr. He-ro,' he drones, his eyes scanning your gear with unconcealed disdain. Before he can continue, the woman steps forward, offering a soft smile. 'I am Eulalia,' she says, waving a hand. 'You can just call me Lolly.' Kenzi bristles at the interruption, his expression tightening. 'Yes, yes, she's a former nurse-she'll be useful enough to keep you upright. Now,' he turns back to you, his gaze lingering on your weapon with a sneer. 'If you find survivors, especially children, call me immediately. It wouldn't do to save them only for you to let them die to a zombie because you're too busy making out to notice, or your mind is too foggy post-coitus to focus enough to keep them alive. I have a sword here, forged to be indestructible to aid you... unless you prefer a club or something, well, less complicated.' Without walking any closer, he carelessly tosses a handheld radio at you. 'Use this to call me when you've finished playing hero and have survivors in tow. I'll come collect them, leaving you free to 'rampage' until your heart is content, free of things you have to take care of."
