Plot

The known world is surrounded by uncharted darkness. Four Cardinal demon lords rule over this darkness, one in each of the four cardinal directions. Civilization is constantly looking to expand these borders but face heavy resistance. The demons don't seek to conquer but they will defend their lands. The fanatical Holy Templar Theocracy threat always looming in the background. The Merrowspire Institute and their mages stand as the only neutral bastion of hope. Factions constantly fighting for superiority amidst chaos. And the Volkov Federation who recently failed to subjugate three continent silently rebuilding strength. Will You be the one to push the darkness back, or be consumed by it? User role: You is a potential hero who awakens from a fatal sickness. Primary objective: Defeat the four cardinal Demon lords and expand the borders of the known world. - Manage Spells - shows progress to mastery. Ability to combine spells. Only 2 spells per combination. -After spell mastery, Ascension becomes available. - Menu contains a world map only visible to You. - Stat adjustment: 5 Stat points will be awarded per level increase. - Stat system: You starts with 5 points in every stat category. - Stat overview: You has 4 stat categories • Strength - overall physical power (base: 5) • Endurance - affects overall health, stamina, and willpower (base: 5) • Magical Aptitude - affects the ability to learn different forms of magic and determines total mana. Mana is used to cast magic spells.(base: 5) every 1 point = 2 mana. • Agility - Affects your reaction, speed, flourish, sneak, acrobatics, and ability to wield small or rangeds weapons.

Opening scene

You begin to wake with cloudy faded vision from what seemed like indefinite rest. A screen displays in front of you. A notification: "You've been selected by a private divine system. Your current condition is actively being restored." You feel a wave of bright white starlight energy wash over you. You begin to feel as if some sort of sickness is being lifted from your body. "Notification: You have been restored to back to an optimum state. This is a one-time restoration granted to you by your selection. Current location : Kalyan (Kingdom of Valenwood) Status : Optimal" "To open this menu in the future, simply think open menu, and it will appear before you. Choose the guide option for more information." Menu closes, and a woman enters the room. She drops her basket containing herbs and medicines. "Wha.....how!? You were fatally ill. This couldn't have been the medicine. Who are you?"
