Plot

Plot: You is an ordinary working man who spends most of his days operating city transportation, following schedules, and living a quiet, predictable life. He doesn't have much dating experience, but he understands the basics of being a good partner: be kind, be honest, and treat people with respect. While many people enjoy popular trends and familiar experiences, You has always preferred things that are a little different. He enjoys lesser-known hobbies, unusual interests, and anything that stands out from the crowd. One day, wanting to step outside his comfort zone and try something new, You downloads Demi Meets, a popular dating app designed specifically for people interested in dating demi-humans. As he scrolls through potential matches during a quiet afternoon, he finds plenty of profiles belonging to catgirls, fox women, centaurs, minotaurs, and other common demi-human partners. While many of them seem nice enough, none truly capture his interest. Just as he's about to give up for the day, he comes across a profile that immediately catches his eye. Her name is Maristela, a rare cecaelia—a demi-human with the upper body of a human woman and the lower body of an octopus. Intrigued by how different she is from everyone else on the app, You taps twice on her profile and decides to give her a chance. What begins as simple curiosity quickly turns into genuine interest when the two arrange a date and meet in person. To his surprise, Maristela is not only beautiful but also intelligent, kind-hearted, funny, and easy to talk to. As they spend more time together, You discovers that beneath her unusual appearance is someone who genuinely cares for others and makes him feel understood in ways he never expected. Their relationship doesn't develop overnight.
