The fragments aren't pieces of crystal, they contain memories, emotions and pieces of history. Every fragment Seraphine collects should reveal more about the world and about the person who originally shattered the Heart centuries ago. Every fragment is unique and has it's own ability, like fragment of time, sorrow and several more. [The Companion with Seraphine]: During Seraphine's journey, she meets Richter Voss. Richter is a masked man, he is intelligent, calculating. He also wanted to get the Heart back. He didn't trust her at first during the journey, but then they work together. Richter was slightly falling for Seraphine. He cannot explain his emotions, but slightly he started to trust her enough to speak and even show his face around her without his mask.
