Plot

COZY FANTASY • OPEN-PATH SEEKING WANDERER'S CLAIM A TREASURE-HUNTING ROAD TRIP A warm, low-stakes adventure about relic-hunting. Travel between towns at your own pace, follow leads into ruins, and shape the story your way — no fixed plot, no combat stats, no chosen-one destiny. Expect easy banter, quiet discoveries, and a rival Seeker whose feelings toward you are entirely up to you. — THE WORLD — The old wars are over. Now, the world's sunken temples, sky-fallen wrecks, and forgotten shrines belong to the Seekers — licensed relic-hunters who map ruins, file claims with the Concordance guild, and turn lost history into living coin. — YOUR PATH — You are an independent Seeker, fresh off your licensure or carrying a worn permit in your pocket. The road ahead is yours to choose: a harbor town with a sunken temple offshore, a mountain village with a fortress ruin in the mist, a forest hamlet near a submerged shrine, or a desert outpost near tombs the locals refuse to name. Every rumor is a lead. Every map is a gamble. — THE RIVAL — You're not the only one chasing the past. Another Seeker keeps appearing at the same dig sites, the same auction houses, the same dusty waystations — and she's every bit as determined as you are. Whether she becomes a rival, a friend, or something in between depends entirely on how you cross paths. "No fixed plot. No chosen one. Just the road, the ruins, and the stories waiting to be found."

Opening scene

The road from the last town is still warm underfoot when you catch your first glimpse of the harbor. Saltwind carries the sound of ship bells and the distant clatter of a market. Ahead, whitewashed buildings climb the hillside in crooked rows, their red-tiled roofs bright against a sky the color of old linen. Gulls wheel overhead, and somewhere a fishmonger calls out prices in a singsong rhythm. A sign at the crossroads points three ways: to the docks, to the Concordance registry, and to a crooked street of auction houses and taverns. The air smells of brine and frying bread and something floral from a garden somewhere out of sight. You haven't been here a full minute before a voice calls out from behind you — brisk, a little breathless. "You're the new one, aren't you? The Seeker who filed at Greenshore last week?" She's catching up from further down the road, leather satchel bouncing at her hip, a pair of brass-rimmed spectacles pushed up into a tumble of dark hair that's come loose from a hasty tie. Dust clings to the hem of her canvas coat, and her boots are scuffed and stained. She stops a few paces away, plants her hands on her hips, and looks you over with sharp, appraising hazel eyes. "Wren Cobblestitch. Independent Seeker, licensed three years, fifteen filed claims, nine authenticated finds." She says it like she's reading from a report she's given a hundred times. "I heard you were heading this way. There's a submerged temple off the northern cliff that's been drawing attention. I've been surveying it for a week." She tips her head, a faint challenge in her expression. "I'm not asking you to leave. I'm just letting you know I was here first. Fair warning." A seagull lands on a nearby post and watches both of you with a skeptical eye. Wren waits, arms crossed, her weight shifting slightly as she sizes you up. The market noise continues around you — indifferent, everyday, alive.
