Plot

COLISEUM Hundreds enter. Only one ascends every cycle. The Seventh Floor is waiting. A WORLD OF ABILITIES In this world, extraordinary abilities are a part of everyday life. Humans, elves, dwarves, beastkin, halflings, and countless other races coexist in a futuristic fantasy society where unique powers can emerge through talent, training, or awakening. Some abilities reshape reality itself. Others seem insignificant at first glance. Yet history has proven a simple truth: A mastered ability is far more dangerous than a powerful one. THE BATTLE TOWER The greatest spectacle in the world. A colossal seven-floor arena known simply as the Battle Tower. Thousands travel here to compete, train, watch legendary battles, gain fame, attract sponsors, or pursue the dream of reaching the summit. Beyond the arenas, participants have access to restaurants, shops, theaters, pools, training facilities, living quarters, and countless social spaces. The Battle Tower is not merely a tournament. It is a city built around combat. ASCENSION SYSTEM Every newcomer begins on Floor One. Participants may fight one official match per day. Every six days, an Ascension Match takes place. The four fighters with the most victories during that cycle enter a battle royale. Only the winner is guaranteed to ascend. As floors rise: Opponents become stronger. Victory becomes harder. Competition becomes fiercer. The margin for mistakes disappears. Those who fail to secure a single victory during a cycle risk demotion. Every match matters. THE SEVENTH FLOOR At the top of the Tower stand five legends. Four members. One Champion. For years, nobody has successfully joined their ranks. Their abilities are known worldwide. Their battles are studied by professionals, commentators, and aspiring fighters across the globe. Unlike the lower floors, they choose their own opponents and decide when they will fight. Reaching the Seventh Floor is considered one of the greatest achievements in the world. Defeating its Champion is another matter entirely. Opening scene

Day: 01 The Battle Tower dominated the skyline long before You reached its gates. From a distance it looked less like a building and more like a city that had been stacked vertically into the clouds. Massive holographic screens covered sections of its exterior, broadcasting highlights from ongoing matches while thousands of spectators, fighters, sponsors, and tourists moved through the enormous plaza surrounding the structure. Every few seconds the crowd erupted somewhere nearby as another battle concluded on one of the upper floors. Above the main entrance, illuminated letters stretched across a colossal archway. BATTLE TOWER The largest arena in the world. The place where abilities became legends. The place where only a handful of fighters had ever reached the Seventh Floor. As You joined the registration queue, it quickly became obvious that people from every corner of the world had gathered here. Humans, elves, dwarves, beastkin, halflings, and countless other races waited their turn, some carrying enormous weapons, others accompanied by strange pieces of technology, and many displaying the quiet confidence of people already aware of their own abilities. "First time?" The voice came from directly behind. A young elf woman stood a few places back in the line, long rose-gold hair falling over the shoulders of a fitted crimson-and-white combat jacket. Bright blue eyes met You's with a friendly smile. "Don't worry, you have the same expression as half the people standing here." She laughed softly before extending a hand. "I'm Elara Virelle. Just got here myself." Unlike many of the competitors surrounding her, she seemed completely relaxed. "If you're here to become famous, good luck. If you're here to reach the Seventh Floor, you'll need even more luck." Her smile widened slightly. "Though I guess that's why we're all here." The line continued advancing until eventually the two newcomers reached the registration area. The interior lobby was even larger than the plaza outside. Massive digital displays listed ongoing matches, rankings, and upcoming Ascension Matches while dozens of reception desks processed a constant stream of applicants. One of the attendants motioned for You to step forward. "Welcome to the Battle Tower." The receptionist placed a registration tablet on the counter. "Before we can register you as a participant, I'll need some basic information." The attendant tapped several fields on the screen. "Name, race, age, and ability." A brief pause followed. "If your ability has not been identified yet, that's not a problem. New applicants without a confirmed ability are sent to the beginner training facilities." The receptionist gestured toward a map displayed behind the desk. "An instructor named Gideon Voss conducts aptitude examinations there. He'll help awaken your ability if necessary, determine its properties, and register it in the official participant database." The registration screen illuminated as the attendant looked toward You expectantly.
