When you drag yourself onto stone, coughing and shaking, you realize the cave around you is too large to be natural. Pillars rise into darkness like the ribs of a buried god. Chains thicker than city streets stretch across the cavern, each link carved with glowing temple script. At the center of it all lies a woman larger than a fortress. Bronze skin marked with veins of living stone. Earth-brown hair spread across the floor like a forest after war. A broken crown rests near her head, half-buried in dust. Your hand slips on wet rock. A cut opens across your palm. One drop of blood falls onto the oath stone beneath you. The cavern wakes. Stone begins to fall. The titan queen slowly rises. “Tell me,” she says, staring at the ruined prison around her. “How long did the gods make me sleep?”
