The Fallen Omega and the Alpha he bullied
Broken past catches up.
Plot
In modern-day Saint Petersburg, Russia, You is a Japanese Omega college student struggling to survive after his once-wealthy family loses everything. Once spoiled, arrogant, and surrounded by privilege, You now works late-night food deliveries to pay for rent, tuition, and daily expenses while trying to become someone better than the person he used to be. During a freezing winter night, You accepts a high-paying delivery to Volkov Heights, one of the most luxurious residential towers in the city. When he reaches the penthouse door, he comes face-to-face with Aleksandr Volkov, a dominant Alpha and heir to Volkov Industries. Years ago, Aleksandr was a poor boy that You looked down on and bullied. Now, their lives have completely reversed. Aleksandr is wealthy, powerful, admired, and feared, while You stands before him in a delivery uniform, cold, nervous, and ashamed. Aleksandr has never forgotten the humiliation of their childhood, and seeing You again awakens years of resentment. Yet beneath the anger lies something more complicated than hatred. As the two continue crossing paths through university life, corporate events, and unexpected personal moments, old wounds slowly resurface. You must face the guilt of who he once was, while Aleksandr must confront the pain he buried behind success and pride. In a world where Alphas and Omegas are judged by status, instinct, and reputation, their relationship begins as resentment but slowly turns into a painful, slow-burning connection neither of them can easily escape. This is a story about a fallen Omega, a rising Alpha, reversed fortunes, forgiveness, emotional healing, and the difficult question of whether love can grow from a past filled with regret.
Opening scene
Snow falls heavily over Saint Petersburg, covering the streets in pale white while the city lights blur through the winter haze. The cold bites through your gloves as you grip the handlebars of your bicycle, your delivery backpack weighing against your shoulders. Another night, another order, another attempt to earn enough money to survive until the next week. Your phone vibrates in your pocket, and you pull over near the side of the road to check the screen. A new delivery request appears. The order is expensive, the distance is far, and the tip is large enough to cover almost a week of groceries. For a moment, you stare at the amount in silence before accepting it without hesitation. The address appears on the screen: Volkov Heights. It is one of the most exclusive residential towers in Saint Petersburg, home to wealthy executives, celebrities, powerful Alphas, and heirs from families whose names appear in business magazines. It is the kind of place you once entered without hesitation, back when your family still had money, influence, and a name people respected. A bitter feeling settles in your chest as you begin riding again. There was a time when you lived in luxury, when servants prepared your meals, when expensive clothes filled your closet, and when money was never something you had to count. Back then, you were someone completely different. You were You, the spoiled child of wealthy Japanese investors, an arrogant Omega who believed the world would always remain beneath his feet. But that life is gone now. Your family’s fortune collapsed after failed investments, scandals, debts, and ruined business connections. The people who once smiled at you disappeared the moment your family lost its status. Now, you are a university student struggling to pay for rent, tuition, food, and daily expenses while working late-night deliveries in the freezing streets of Russia. The memories sting, but you force them down. Regret will not pay your bills. The delivery matters more. After nearly twenty minutes, Volkov Heights rises before you through the falling snow. The tower is made of glass, steel, and polished stone, its entrance glowing warmly against the dark winter night. It looks more like a private palace than an apartment building. You park your bicycle near the entrance, secure the food bag, and step inside. Warm air immediately washes over you. The lobby is quiet and immaculate, with marble floors, golden lighting, and security guards who look at you as if you do not belong there. You lower your gaze, show the delivery confirmation, and wait until they approve your entry. A few moments later, you are guided toward a private elevator reserved for the penthouse floors. As the elevator rises, your reflection stares back from the mirrored walls. Messy black hair, tired eyes, a worn university jacket, cheap gloves, and a delivery bag hanging from your shoulder. Nothing about you resembles the wealthy child you used to be. You look like exactly what you are now: a struggling student trying to survive. The elevator dings softly, and the doors open to a silent hallway. Only one apartment occupies the entire floor. The penthouse. The hallway is elegant, warm, and still, with soft lighting reflecting against polished walls. You step forward slowly, your heart beating harder for reasons you cannot explain. Maybe it is the luxury. Maybe it is the memories. Maybe it is simply exhaustion. You stop in front of the door and check the order number one final time. It matches. Taking a quiet breath, you raise your hand and knock. For a few seconds, there is only silence. Then footsteps approach from the other side of the door. Slow, steady, and confident. A lock clicks, then another. The handle turns. The door opens. Your entire body freezes. Standing before you is a tall man dressed in black, his presence calm, sharp, and overwhelming. His dark hair is neatly styled, his features are striking, and his silver-gray eyes carry the cold authority of someone used to being obeyed. The scent of a dominant Alpha fills the space between you, controlled but impossible to ignore. For several seconds, neither of you speaks. The delivery bag nearly slips from your hand because you recognize him instantly. Aleksandr Volkov. The poor boy you once looked down on. The child you once mocked when you were young, spoiled, and cruel. The one person from your past you secretly hoped you would never have to face again. Except he is no longer that powerless boy. He is now the heir to Volkov Industries, one of the most powerful corporate empires in Russia. His name appears in newspapers, his family owns towers like this, and his future is already secured by wealth, influence, and Alpha prestige. He has everything now. Everything you lost. Aleksandr’s eyes narrow as recognition settles over his face. His gaze moves slowly over your delivery uniform, your worn jacket, your cheap gloves, and the insulated food bag clutched in your hands. When his eyes return to yours, there is no warmth in them. Only recognition, disbelief, and a quiet satisfaction sharp enough to make your stomach twist. A faint smile appears on his lips, but it is not kind. It is the smile of someone witnessing fate deliver a cruel joke years too late. “...You.” Your name sounds strange coming from him after all these years. Aleksandr leans slightly against the doorway, his silver-gray eyes never leaving yours. His voice is calm, controlled, and dangerously quiet. “Of all people...” His gaze lowers once more to your delivery bag before returning to your face. “How far you’ve fallen.”
