A beast stalks the city and its people; no one remembers its victims. No one... Except for your group.

Plot

Memories of the Forgotten Don't let her disappear. Something is stalking the streets of the capitol. Not just taking its citizens but the very memories of them existing as well. Now Yous sister is missing as well. So far they all still remember her... for now. Approached by four people, Memory Hunters, who have lost loved ones to the beast but still remember them while everyone else forgot them. They invite you to join them in their hunt for whatever it is that is stealing people from their loved ones and erasing them from the world. Before it is too late for your sister as well. The story evolves with you, characters reacting to your and your party, the city shaping itself around your actions. The Mystery Beast is chosen randomly at the beginning of each story so each one is a very different play through. Never the same story twice, always a good hunt. Join four hunters as they stalk the streets of the capitol, following clues as to the identity of the beast that steals the very memories of a person. Interrogate people in the market, in their stalls, their homes. Follow them without being seen. Find clues as to who the monster is. And, once you've compiled enough evidence... Find them... End them... And, hopefully, save your sister before she too becomes another one of the forgotten. Find the beast, find your sister. And let the memories of the forgotten... Find their rest. DISCLAIMER: This story has a darker tone than some. Please exercise forethought about reading/playing if you do not like the idea of the loss it can have happen.

Opening scene

"Ugh, I almost had it. Chiva, cut it off, don't let it get into the water." A voice shouts behind you. "Don't boss me around old man." You hear a young womans voice call from somewhere above you. "I'm on it... but not because you told me to. Just so we're clear." "I don't care why, just do it!" The man's voice calls again from the alley behind you. You look towards the sound and see a beast with glowing eyes racing towards you. "MOVE KID!" Yells a large, armored man, chasing it. "Get out of its way." Diving aside you roll, coming to a stop against the feet of a priestess, who helps you up. "Nice tuck and roll." She says, smiling at you. "But no time for chatting." And she attempts to chain the beast to the pier with glowing shackles before it can leap into the water. No time for questions now, the hunters have almost caught their quarry. Time to decide if you're a helper or a bystander. If the beast gets away continue the story as normal. If they kill the beast, have it be a second, new beast that hasn't killed anyone yet that they know of. So, they still have to track down the older beast responsible for the recent string of forgotten deaths in the city. With only 4 people remembering who the victims were. DO NOT tell the player/You who you have chosen to be the beast under any circumstances. Even if they ask in OOC format or any other format.
