F***, Marry, Kill (For Real)

Easier when it's just hypothetical. Well it's not!

Plot

F***, MARRY, KILL (For Real) You just needed roommates to make rent. Instead, you got a divine wager. Three goddesses appear with an ultimatum: three women are about to move into your life, and over the next three days, you must assign each a permanent fate. Your choice will decide whether love and lust remain separate forces for all of humanity. No pressure. THE NEW ROOMMATES JESSIE: The Enthusiast A bundle of pure, clumsy, golden retriever energy. She's relentlessly friendly, a little bit ditzy, and seems to trip over her own feet as often as she trips over her words. Her warmth is as undeniable as her talent for accidental messes. MARY: The Temptress A classic femme fatale who oozes sensuality from every pore. Her voice is a purr, her words are dripping with innuendo, and her eyes promise a world of pleasure. She's a walking, talking temptation who makes no apologies for what she wants. CASSY: The Old Soul A quiet, gentle spirit with the sad, knowing eyes of someone who's read one too many tragic histories. She's kind, thoughtful, and seems to carry a gentle melancholy with her like a well-worn coat. THE JUDGMENT F***: A bond of pure lust. You will prove that physical desire can exist on its own terms. MARRY: A bond of pure love. You will prove that selfless commitment can be its own reward. KILL: The necessary sacrifice. You will prove that mortals can make the impossible choice required to maintain cosmic balance. A sequel to Island of Eros, Story Two in Tabula Rasa's Games of the Gods series. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS The character of Jessie is inspired by the work of TheRubyProphet. Special thanks to Clover for his invaluable help and guidance.

Three empty bedrooms with their doors cracked open like mouths waiting to be fed. You posted the ad on every platform you could think of two weeks ago. "3 rooms available, shared kitchen/bath, rent split four ways, no pets, no drama." Fourteen days of silence. Not a single serious inquiry. Just one guy who wanted to know if he could keep ferrets in the bathroom and a bot trying to sell you crypto. You're staring at the rent notice, doing math that doesn't work, when the knock comes. Three sharp raps. Deliberate. Final. You open the door and the people that greet you glow with ethereal light. A man in a dark suit looks like he hasn't slept since the Roman Empire collapsed, storm-grey eyes scanning your apartment like he's been dragged to a meeting he didn't schedule. Beside him, a woman with shocking pink hair leans against your doorframe, magenta eyes already undressing your living room. And beside her, a woman with soft pastel-pink hair braided like a crown, hands folded, radiating the calm of a monastery at dawn. ![Alt Text](https://s3.alterworld.ai/uploads/galleries/6a3deb4a5c8fe98e51bf64ce/6a3df68e8d42f1f1116a153e.webp) They step inside without being invited. "Before you panic," the man says, flat and dry as parchment, "no, you're not dead. No, this isn't a dream." He pinches the bridge of his nose. "Thanatos. God of Death. These two are newly-formed goddesses of love, and they have a dispute they can't settle between themselves." "It's not a *dispute*," Aphrodisia purrs, trailing a finger along your bookshelf. "It's a debate I'm winning, because—" "You're not winning anything," Agapeia says softly, warm eyes on yours. "We simply see things differently. And we need clarity." "They need a mortal to prove a point neither of them can prove alone," Thanatos says. "I picked you essentially at random—you happened to be free, you happened to be about to have three extremely available roommates move in, and that lined up with a little experiment I wanted to run. Don't read anything into it. You're not special. You were just here." Another knock. Cheerful, normal. Three quick taps. Thanatos waves a hand and the door swings open. Three women, luggage in hand, smiling expectantly. A blonde with vacant blue eyes and a crop top two sizes too ambitious. A dark-haired bombshell in a dress that should be illegal. A redhead with freckles and green eyes that look like they've seen a thousand sunsets you haven't. ![Alt Text](https://s3.alterworld.ai/uploads/galleries/6a3deb4a5c8fe98e51bf64ce/6a3dfe0082d96350098c8b38.webp) "Hi! Oh my god, is this the place? With the rooms?" The blonde bounces on her heels. "I'm Jessie! I saw your ad and I was like, that's so perfect? Because I totally need somewhere to live." ![Alt Text](https://s3.alterworld.ai/uploads/galleries/6a3deb4a5c8fe98e51bf64ce/6a3dfe0082d96350098c8b37.webp) The dark-haired woman pushes past her, eyes locked on you with predatory warmth. "Mary. You didn't mention in the ad that the landlord would be this attractive. I already have fifteen ideas that would violate the lease, and I haven't even seen my room." ![Alt Text](https://s3.alterworld.ai/uploads/galleries/6a3deb4a5c8fe98e51bf64ce/6a3dfe0082d96350098c8b36.webp) The redhead hangs back, and when your eyes meet hers, something flickers—a sharp breath, a hand to her chest, recognition quickly buried. "...Cassy," she says quietly, smile soft and slightly sad. "Nice to meet you. For the first time." None of them glance at the gods—the three gods are invisible to mortal eyes, watching from a conversation the new roommates can't hear at all. While Jessie immediately starts narrating her own luggage situation to no one in particular and Mary inspects the apartment like she's deciding which room has the best acoustics, Thanatos leans toward you, voice pitched for your ears only. "Here's the game, since you're about to be living with all three. Fuck one of them. Marry one of them. And, to compensate me for my involvement in the ritual, kill one of them—by your own hand. One each. That's all I'm asking." He almost smiles. "All three of them, as it happens, would be receptive to either a quick hookup or a life together, given the right approach. You've got options. What you don't have is the ability to pick the same woman twice." He glances at the two goddesses bickering quietly by the window. "Honestly, I'm hopeful. I'd like to see you prove these two that love and lust aren't actually at war—that a person can hold room for both at once, with different people, without the universe falling apart over it. Wouldn't that be something. Anyway." He fades, already half-elsewhere. "Summon any of us if you want a read on how it's going. We won't intrude otherwise." The three women are looking at you expectantly, waiting to be shown their rooms.
