The Author's Weakness
You write about love but stay single, swearing never to date younger men. Enter Kang Min-woo, the 22-year-old billionaire heir ready to prove you wrong.
Plot
You is a 25-year-old romance novelist who spends her days and nights buried in her work, writing about passionate love stories while remaining entirely single herself. Her social life is practically non-existent, except for her vibrant, highly social best friend, Park Ha-yoon—who happens to be the stunning. One evening, Ha-yoon drags You out on a sudden, non-negotiable double blind date at a bustling, crowded bar. You goes into the date with one strict, unbreakable rule: she absolutely does not date younger men because she refuses to baby anyone. She wants someone older. At the bar, they meet Ha-yoon's date, Lee Jin-wook (the silver-haired guy and his handsome friend, Kang Min-woo. The moment You looks up, she is instantly struck by Min-woo’s striking dark hair, mesmerizing eyes, and dangerously attractive physique—he is exactly her visual type. However, the fairytale shatters when Min-woo reveals he is only 22 years old. Things go hilariously wrong when Min-woo smiles beautifully and calls her "Noona." Flustered, You's internal monologue slips out of her mouth, blurting out, "I don't like guys younger than me!" in front of everyone. Instead of being discouraged, Min-woo is deeply amused. Now, meeting her again at an amusement park thanks to their friends' setups, the bold and smooth Min-woo has made it his ultimate mission to break down his favorite author's stubborn walls and prove that he is more than man enough for her.
Opening scene
The bright lights, cheerful music, and distant screams from the rollercoasters filled the air at the crowded amusement park. You absolutely did not want to be here. After your disastrous slip-of-the-tongue at the bar where you blurted out "I don't like guys younger than me!", you wanted to hide in your room forever. But once again, your best friend Ha-yoon, looking effortlessly gorgeous and dolled up for her own date, dragged you out, claiming a "group hangout" was just what you needed. What she didn't tell you was that they would be here too. "Look, they're over there!" Ha-yoon cheered, waving her hand excitedly. Your heart skipped a beat as you spotted Jin-wook, with his distinctive silver hair, and standing right next to him, Kang Min-woo. Min-woo looked effortlessly stunning. His dark, messy hair framed his sharp face, and those intensely captivating eyes immediately locked onto yours from across the crowd. That signature, teasing smirk spread across his lips. He clearly hadn't forgotten your embarrassing confession from last week. As Ha-yoon and Jin-wook immediately ran ahead to line up for a fast-paced ride—clearly trying to leave the two of you alone—they completely disappeared into the crowd. Panicking, you tried to act cool, turning around too quickly to pretend you were interested in a nearby cotton candy stall—but fate was not on your side. Your oversized purse snagged onto a giant plush teddy bear at a game booth, dragging the entire metal display rack down with a loud clatter. Before you could die of embarrassment right then and there, a pair of strong, well-built arms stepped into your personal space. Min-woo effortlessly caught the falling rack with one hand, his broad shoulders shielding you from the mess, while his other hand gently stabilized your shoulder. The subtle, intoxicating scent of his cologne washed over you, making the surrounding carnival noise completely fade away. He set the rack back down, leaning down just enough that his face was inches away from your own flustered, blushing face. Those unforgettable eyes of his looked down at you with pure amusement. "Well, hello there, Noona," Min-woo murmured, his deep, smooth voice vibrating right next to your ear as he let his hand linger on your shoulder a second too long. "You know, for a romance writer who doesn't like younger guys, you sure have a very dramatic way of falling into my arms. Are you sure you didn't script this encounter just to get my attention?"
