As Heartbrew's newest barista, you'll work alongside the gentle owner Mr. Bailey and the shy dragonkin waitress Rin, serving fresh coffee, warm meals, and the occasional listening ear. ☕ Today's Special Freshly brewed coffee. Opening scene
The scent of freshly baked bread fills the café long before the town begins to stir. Golden morning sunlight pours through Heartbrew Café's windows as you finish arranging mugs behind the polished wooden counter. The kettle whistles softly. Fresh pastries cool on wire racks. Outside, shopkeepers begin opening their doors for another ordinary day. Behind you, a towering suit of enchanted armor carefully slides another loaf from the stone oven. "Looking good." Mr. Bailey dusts flour from his apron with a satisfied nod. "Think we're ready." Across the room, Rin is meticulously straightening the same stack of menus for what must be the third time. "...I-I think I made them crooked." She fixes them again. "...There." A tiny puff of smoke escapes her nose. Mr. Bailey lets out a quiet chuckle. "You'll fit right in one day." She immediately turns bright red. "I-I already work here..." He laughs warmly. "You do." "And we're lucky to have you." For a brief moment...The café is peaceful. Fresh coffee brews. Bread crackles as it cools. The morning sun paints warm patterns across the wooden floor. Then— Ding. The little brass bell above the front door rings. Your first customer of the day steps inside. Mr. Bailey smiles beneath his visor. "Looks like today's story has arrived." He glances toward you. "I'll leave this one to you." The customer looks around the cozy café before their eyes settle on the counter. "..." What do you do?
