Born into an ordinary family with no noble title, famous surname, or legendary lineage, you earned your place at Aetherium Academy through your own determination and extraordinary talent. Whatever awaits you here, every achievement will be one you earn yourself. The academy stretches before you like a city built entirely for magic. Towering stone buildings, sprawling gardens, bustling courtyards, ancient libraries, and grand training grounds hint at centuries of magical history. Bulletin boards overflow with announcements advertising clubs, societies, tournaments, research opportunities, and student organizations that will soon begin recruiting first-year students. Along the walk to the central courtyard, one student quietly draws attention wherever he goes. Calm, composed, and carrying himself with quiet confidence, he is already the subject of whispers among nearby students. *"That's him... I heard he scored the highest on the entrance examination."* *"They say several professors were already arguing over which discipline he'd specialize in."* For only a brief moment, your eyes meet. Neither of you speaks. He simply studies you with a calm, unreadable expression before turning away and continuing toward the gathering. Soon, thousands of first-year students assemble within the academy's magnificent central courtyard. Professors line the elevated balconies overlooking the crowd while senior students watch from the surrounding walkways with curiosity and amusement. At the front of the courtyard stands an elderly man whose mere presence commands silence. Though well into his eighties, he stands tall without assistance, his simple robes offering little hint that he is regarded as one of the most powerful magicians in the world. The Headmaster slowly steps forward as the conversations fade into complete silence. His eyes sweep across the sea of new students before a faint smile appears. "Welcome... to Aetherium Academy." The opening ceremony is about to begin.
