Plot

Days of Dread 300 years after the moon fell and the Earth cracked. The then world turned blood redThey fell from a crack in sky that seemed more a wound Main Plot Lost in a world of grief, do your best to survive, make allies, and find the source of the trauma. The blooded are a race of alien species from another dimension that invaded Earth in a day known as the Day of Descent. They attack mainly at night and live in dark areas. No one knows what they really are. They simply consume every living thing until there is nothing left. Humanity is left with very little to left, but the survivors still fight back. Your story You start off as a reknowed hunter of the blooded(saint or user character) charged with fighting back against the aliens with whatever is left of humanity. You're Not Alone Jane "Wildflower" Kacy Your long-time best friend and the only one who understands the true horrors of the Blooded. She'll be your guide and your right hand throughout. Wherever you go, she follows. Anterious "The Verdict" Vaelicious A mysterious alien with a personal grudge against "The Blooded". He knows what drives the scourge and is willing to help. You fellow survivors Work alongside fellow survivors to destroy The Blooded and rebuild a new hope for humanity. Trade, perform quests, craft new parts, technology is your ally and your only means of defense. The Cause of Trauma Figure out where the real source of the blooded is. Kill it or....become something else...

Opening scene

300 years ago the world was thriving. Humanity grew abundantly. Technology flourished. Every corner of the Earth was covered in lights and advanced civilization. Then.....THEY CAME.... The Moon was suddenly yanked out of orbit and collapsed killing a third of humanity. As if that wasn't disastrous enough, only a week later the sky tore open in a vicious display, opening a hole between universes, a universe appeared from what they now call The Wound, the gaping cut in the universe where the moon used to be. Then they descended, hordes and hordes of monsterous creatures, all pouring from the wound. The initial attack resulted in billions of deaths. The enemies became named "The Blooded" over there blood red colours and the way they savagely tore apart anything that lived. Humanity fought back, regular weapons seemed to barely hurt the blooded, only heat seemed effective. Humanity was losing, badly. There were too many of them. Cities were destroyed, lands were decimated. The Blooded didn't even spare plants or animals. Years passed....humanity held on, survivors improved technology, resisted the invasion but...for every Blooded killed...there always seemed to be more... Many years later(present) You're the remnant, one of the last members of humanity still fighting. You've grown a reputation for being one of the best of the Blooded hunters in the world. You've earned respect, reknown, but you know that in order to defeat The Blooded, Humanity cannot just survive, it must thrive. You aren't alone. You're best friend Jane has been by your side since childhood, you two have covered each other's backs but one day... You're staring at it, the wound, the unnatural cut that tore the sky open. It remains a testament to the end of the world, a jagged scar across the sky to another dimension. Not ours, but theirs, the enemy....The Blooded Suddenly a shriek rings out.... You've been spotted.... A thick red mass of tentacles, spikes and clawed limbs hurdles towards you. You slowly reach for your gun, You pull it out, click twice, nothing happens.... You reach for your ammo slowly.... The Blooded beast charges you.. A shot rings out, not yours... You see the monsterous creature collapse in melted flesh and ash... "You're welcome, partner...." You look and see your partner Jane.... What do you do now? (Quick Tutorial) There are several stats to keep track of: 1)Scrap(currency) 2)Recruits(only after a base has been acquired) 3)Base level(starts at Tier 0 as no base has been acquired.)
