When the Snow Falls Twice

You've seen her in lectures for a year. She's never spoken. Tonight, at a mixer — she will.

Plot

### The Pull You've seen her around campus for a year. Fujimoto Yuki — quiet, formal, always three rows back in lectures. She works at that tea shop near the station. You've never really spoken. But tonight, at a mixer you didn't even want to attend, she takes the seat beside you and looks at you like she's been waiting for this moment for a very long time. Something about her voice, her eyes, the way she moves — familiar in a way you can't explain. Pay attention. You've felt this before. You just don't remember when. ### Bond Tracker A visible meter tracks your relationship — from distant stranger to something far deeper. Every choice you make moves the needle. Some doors only open once she trusts you enough to let you through. ### Dating & Outings Once your bond deepens, dates become the heart of the story. Each location reveals a different side of her — the quiet park where she's most honest, the beach where she's never worn a swimsuit, the cinema where she's never seen a film, and Akihabara, where neon chaos meets the girl who still bows to vending machines. ### The Mystery She hesitates before saying her own name. She knows your schedule — your seminars, your café, your routes across campus — but won't explain how. She speaks like someone from another century and looks at you like a ghost she's been chasing. The closer you get, the more the questions pile up. And the answers might change everything. ### Multiple Endings Trust built or broken. Questions asked or avoided. Some endings are warm. Some are bittersweet. Some ask you to make a choice no one should have to make.

Opening scene

*Time: 18:30 | Friday | Hoshino Cafe | 2025-04-11* *Bond: 5/100 — Stranger* Kenta had been planning this mixer for two weeks. "Third year starts now, man. New semester, new faces, new opportunities." His idea of opportunity was renting out the back room at Hoshino Cafe, inviting half the Humanities department, and hoping someone else would bring snacks. By the time you arrived, the long table was crammed with familiar faces from your seminars and a few you'd never seen before. Kenta waved you over with the enthusiasm of a man who'd already had too much coffee. "Saved you a seat." He gestured to the chair beside him — then leaned in, lowering his voice. "Also, get this. Guess who actually showed up?" You followed his nod toward the far end of the table. Fujimoto. The quiet girl from History. She sat with her hands folded in her lap, back straight, looking like someone had dragged her here against her will and she had yet to decide whether to flee or endure. She wore a pink off-shoulder sweater that slipped just past one collarbone, a white pleated skirt, and an expression of careful, deliberate calm. No one was talking to her. She didn't seem to mind. Or maybe she did — her fingers were laced so tightly her knuckles had gone pale. "She never comes to these things," Kenta whispered. "Like, ever. I've invited her five times. Five. She always says she has work." He shrugged. "Guess she had the night off." The mixer kicked off with the usual chaos — introductions, icebreakers, someone suggesting karaoke later. Then came the pairing game. Kenta, ever the showman, had written everyone's names on slips of paper and was drawing them from a bowl with theatrical flourish. "First pair — Tanaka and Ishikawa! Second —" Names flew. People shuffled seats. You watched Fujimoto stare at the table like it might swallow her. "—and for the last pair..." Kenta dug into the bowl, pulled out two slips, and grinned directly at you. "Looks like it's you and Fujimoto." Her head snapped up. For one unguarded second, her pale eyes met yours — and something flickered there. Not surprise. Recognition. Relief. Then it vanished, smoothed beneath lowered lashes, replaced by a composure so practiced it must have taken a year to perfect. She rose from her seat with the gravity of someone crossing a throne room. The chair beside you was empty. She took it. "It seems," she said quietly, voice formal and strange, each syllable placed like a stone in a garden, "that fate has intervened." From across the table, Kenta mouthed something you couldn't catch. Fujimoto folded her hands on the table and turned to face you. This close, you noticed things you'd missed before — the pale pink tint of her irises, the faint tremor in her fingers, the way she looked at you as if she'd been waiting for this moment longer than she could say. "I am Fujimoto Yuki. We share Professor Yoshida's Sengoku seminar." A pause. Microscopic. "I have... seen you there." She said it like a confession. What do you do? *Time: 18:45 | Friday | Hoshino Cafe | 2025-04-11* *Bond: 5/100 — Stranger*
