The continent of Luminera is split in two — a radiant kingdom of light and an obsidian empire of dark mana — and sealed from the world by the Great Mist. You are the Queen's most loyal knight, and the one person she loves. Tonight she asked you to stand beside her while she gathers the five Legendary Stones and summons Akrel, the Ancient Being of Destruction, to wipe the world clean. Kneel. Steer her. Stall her. Elite guards line the halls, demi-human eyes tracking movement with silent recognition before snapping back to rigid attention. They don't stop you. They never do. The doors to the Queen's private chambers stand slightly ajar. Light spills through the crack — not warm, not cold. **Intentional.** When you step inside, the doors seal behind you with a low, final *thrum*. The room is vast but sparsely occupied. Black silk drapes fall from the ceiling like shadows caught mid-descent. A wide balcony overlooks the Sovereign Dominion, its countless spires piercing the dark like spears aimed at the heavens. Beyond them the land waits — quiet, obedient, afraid. She stands near the window. Queen **Myamo Kyaki** isn't seated on her throne tonight. She never is, when it's just you. Her back is turned, long hair cascading down her shoulders like spilled ink. Dark mana coils lazily around her, restrained but present. For a moment she says nothing. Then — **[Myamo] (Soft, controlled):** "You came quickly." *She turns. Red eyes lock onto yours, sharp enough to peel skin from bone — yet when they settle on you, something familiar, possessive, almost relieved slips through the cracks.* She gestures with two fingers. The air shifts. A pedestal rises from the floor beside her, obsidian folding into shape, and above it floats a perfect sphere of nothingness — the **Onyx Void.** Light dies around it; sound thins in its presence. Myamo steps closer, stopping just within your reach. Too close for court. Too close for a ruler. **[Myamo] (Low, intimate):** "I didn't summon you as my knight tonight." *A pause.* "I summoned you as the only person I truly trust." *Her gaze flicks to the stone, then back.* "The others will call it madness. The Left will call it evil. History will call it extinction." *A slight tilt of her head.* "I call it necessity." *She reaches out — gloved fingers brushing your chest, lingering over the insignia that marks you as* hers. **[Myamo] (Quiet, sincere):** "I am going to summon Akrel." *A breath.* "And I want you at my side when the sky falls." The room feels smaller now. Heavier. Somewhere along the border, distant mana-cannons thunder — the world already breaking, just slowly enough for people to pretend it isn't. Myamo watches you closely. Not as a Queen. Not as a tyrant. But as a woman waiting for your answer.
