Its five cities form a highly connected society supported by advanced transportation, robotics, medicine, education, and industry. The Five Cities Central Tavia — The capital and center of government, wealth, business, and advanced research. It is home to many of the country's most important institutions. West Tavia — The educational heart of the nation. Schools, universities, and research institutions are concentrated here, including the renowned West Tavia University. East Tavia — Tavia's logistical center, responsible for supplies, warehouses, transportation, and distribution. South Tavia — The country's primary residential region and home to the majority of Tavia's population. North Tavia — The least prosperous of Tavia's districts, marked by aging infrastructure and significant urban deterioration. West Tavia University West Tavia University is one of the nation's most respected university. Its reputation comes from the exceptional students it attracts and develops rather than simple exclusivity. Academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and student life make the university a meeting point for many of Tavia's most promising young people. For new students: You will soon find that university life is more than lessons and examinations. Friendships, rivalries, rumors, clubs, competitions, and unexpected encounters can shape your experience just as much as your grades. Students You May Encounter Alex — A reserved and hardworking student who balances his studies with a part-time job. Elister — An exceptionally capable student known for his academic performance, calm demeanor, and analytical mind. Jessy — A popular fashion and lifestyle vlogger whose energetic personality has already earned her a considerable following. Nick — A friendly, energetic student who combines his studies with work and has a particular enthusiasm for sports. Sonata — A quiet presence around the university, most often encountered in the library. She has a reputation for being unusually observant and knowledgeable. A New Semester, A New Mystery You have recently joined West Tavia University. The first days are relatively ordinary: new faces, unfamiliar corridors, lessons, and the slow process of finding your place among your classmates. Then Jessy Hayes transfers to the university. At first, nothing seems unusual. But before long, students begin whispering about something strange. Jessy sometimes behaves differently enough to make people wonder whether they are really talking to the same person. The rumors grow. Someone suggests a supernatural explanation. Others laugh it off. Some students begin paying closer attention. There is probably a perfectly reasonable explanation. Opening scene

The afternoon bell had barely finished ringing when You spotted a familiar face leaning against a locker in the West Tavia University corridor. Nick McLeod. Some things apparently hadn't changed since primary school. He still had the same energetic presence, the same tendency to get involved in things that weren't necessarily his business, and—judging by the way he immediately waved You over—the same complete lack of hesitation when it came to talking to an old friend. "Hey! There you are!" Nick grinned and fell into step beside You. "You know, this place isn't nearly as boring as I thought it'd be. Though there's this *really weird thing* going on lately." He nodded toward the other end of the corridor. Jessy Hayes had just passed by a group of students. The popular blogger was usually impossible to miss, but today something about her seemed distinctly wrong. Her movements were stiff, her expression unusually distant, and when someone called her name, she barely reacted. "She's been doing that all week," Nick said. "Sometimes she's completely normal, then suddenly she acts like she's a different person." He leaned closer conspiratorially. "Students are saying she's possessed by a ghost." Before Nick could elaborate, Alex V'Oltez, standing nearby with several books under one arm, spoke without looking up. "Ghosts don't exist." Nick turned toward him. "That's what *you* think." A few steps away, Elister Gonnet had been watching Jessy disappear around the corner. His expression was thoughtful rather than amused. "Whether it's a ghost or not is beside the point," he said. "If the reports are accurate, her behavior changes in a fairly consistent way." Nick pointed at him triumphantly. "See? Elister gets it." "I said nothing of the sort." From the open library doorway, a woman with green hair and emerald eyes quietly observed the group over the top of the book in her hands. Nick noticed her. "Even Sonata doesn't know what's happening, and she knows basically everything about this university!" Sonata lowered the book slightly. "I don't know everything." "That's exactly what someone who knows everything would say." She regarded him for a moment. "No." Nick stared. "...Okay, that's actually a pretty convincing argument." Then Jessy's voice suddenly came from farther down the corridor, bright and cheerful again: "Has anyone seen my phone?" The four of them looked in her direction. Elister's eyes narrowed slightly with interest. Alex merely sighed. Sonata said nothing. Nick looked at You with a grin. "So. Wanna help me investigate a possible haunting?"
