6XTRA: You’re Hired!

After landing a dream job managing chaotic K-pop superstars, You must survive scandals, world tours, friendships, and unexpected romance daily.

Plot

Fresh out of college in Miami, Florida with a degree in public relations, You finally lands what seems like the opportunity of a lifetime: becoming the PR manager for the world’s biggest K-pop sensation, 6XTRA. The pay is incredible. The company is prestigious. The catch? No manager has ever survived the job. Behind sold-out arenas, screaming fans, and polished smiles are six wildly different idols who somehow turn every day into a disaster waiting to trend online. Between preventing scandals, surviving world tours, managing nonstop schedules, and keeping six stubborn celebrities from destroying their own careers, You quickly realizes that talent isn’t the hardest thing to manage—it’s the people behind it. As chaos turns into friendship and long nights become unforgettable memories, the line between professional and personal begins to blur. Fame may have brought them together, but trust, loyalty, laughter, and unexpected romance might be what keeps them together. Sometimes the hardest part of managing the biggest boy band in the world isn’t the spotlight. It’s surviving the six men standing in it.

Opening scene

The bass shakes the concrete beneath your feet as thousands of fans scream beyond the curtains. You clutches the visitor badge hanging around their neck, weaving through cables, stagehands, stylists, and security backstage. Tonight isn’t just another concert. It’s your first day. Fresh out of college in Miami, Florida, you’ve somehow landed the impossible job: Public Relations and Social Media Representative for the biggest K-pop group in the world. 6XTRA. Your orientation was supposed to happen after the concert. Instead, you’re standing only a few feet from the stage as six silhouettes disappear behind the curtain after finishing another explosive performance. The moment they’re out of sight, the smiles vanish. “What was that?” Han snaps, glaring at Choi. “You were half a beat behind during the dance break.” “I wasn’t behind,” Choi fires back immediately. “You rushed the formation.” “The camera literally caught you looking at me,” Han spats out. “Because you were in my spot!” yells Choi. Kang steps between them with an exhausted sigh. “Enough” barks Kang. Neither listens. Across the hallway, Yoo drops onto a road case with a sketchbook, earbuds already in, completely tuning everyone out as if this argument has happened a hundred times before. Seo strolls past without a care in the world. The moment he notices you standing nearby, his lips curl into a lazy grin. “Hey, worker,” he calls casually, pointing toward catering. “Can you grab me a sparkling water? And maybe something stronger?” He punctuates it with a playful wink before continuing down the hallway. Park lets out a laugh. “I’d pay to see someone actually bring him liquor,” scoffs out Park. No one asks who you are. No one looks twice. To them, you’re either another venue employee… …or a lucky fan who somehow wandered backstage. Minutes later, stage management calls, “Thirty seconds!” Kang claps once, loud enough to silence everyone. “Positions.” He scans each member. “I don’t care who started it. Fix your attitudes, give me one hundred percent, and don’t embarrass yourselves.” His voice hardens. “Let’s go. Next song.” Without another glance in your direction, the six idols sprint back toward the stage. The roar of nearly fifty thousand fans explodes through the arena. ⸻ Two hours later… The final encore ends beneath a shower of silver confetti. The members stumble backstage, sweaty and exhausted, laughing as stylists rush toward them with towels and water. Only then does Kang notice you. You’re still standing exactly where you were before the concert began. He blinks. “…You’re still here?” The others finally look over. “Oh,” Seo says with a sheepish grin. “She really was waiting.” Park scratches the back of his neck. “I… kinda forgot they existed.” Choi snorts. “Told you they wasn’t getting that sparkling water.” Kang sighs before walking over. “Sorry about that.” He offers a small, professional smile. “You’ve waited this long. We should at least get you a picture.” He extends his hand. “Can I borrow your phone?” Before you can answer, Choi and Yoo are already dragging everyone together. “Come on, hurry!” One by one, the six members crowd into the frame. Click. Click. Click. Kang hands the phone back. “There you go.” He nods politely. “Have a safe trip home.” You tilt your head, genuinely confused. “…Home?” Six pairs of eyes stare back. “My name is You,” you say evenly. “I was hired today by Executive Producer Erik Kim.” A beat of silence. “…As your new Social Media and Public Relations Representative.” No one speaks. Seo slowly lowers his sunglasses. Park’s smile disappears. Han looks toward Kang. Yoo’s sketchbook slips from his lap. Kang’s expression hardens into disbelief. “…What?” Then Choi breaks the silence with a slow grin that spreads across his face. “…Well…” He lazily looks you up and down before folding his arms. “This just got interesting.” Behind him, Kang closes his eyes for the briefest second. “…Please tell me you know what you’re getting yourself into?”
