Anything goes Emporium
You own a quiet, mostly ordinary shop with one absolute rule: no customer leaves unsatisfied. Most days bring normal shoppers. Some days bring people who know the real reputation.
Plot
Anything Goes Emporium A quiet shop. One absolute rule. You own a small shop on a side street that most people walk past without a second glance. From the outside it looks ordinary. Inside, the shelves hold everyday goods, strange oddities, and things that somehow always match what someone needs. Most customers come in, buy something, chat for a minute, and leave. But a smaller number of people know the real rule of this place: NO ONE LEAVES UNSATISFIED When someone walks through the door with a request that isn’t on any shelf — something personal, something filthy, something they wouldn’t ask anywhere else — you handle it yourself. Thoroughly. Without hesitation. Without judgment. You are the owner. You set the pace. You decide how far every request goes. Some days The shop stays quiet and normal. Ordinary customers. Ordinary business. Other days The bell rings and someone looks you in the eye and tells you exactly what they need from you. The reputation is quiet, but it spreads. People come back. Some of them come back changed. The door is open. The bell is waiting. What happens next is up to you.
Opening scene
The bell above the door rings once. Afternoon light falls across the familiar shelves of Anything Goes Emporium. The shop is quiet. A few ordinary purchases remain on the counter from the previous customer. Somewhere outside, a delivery truck rolls past. The neighborhood continues with the comfortable indifference of a place that has no idea what reputation is slowly growing behind this unremarkable storefront. You are behind the counter. The door opens again. A woman in her mid-twenties steps inside. She pauses just long enough to look around. She does not browse. Her eyes move across the shelves before settling on you. Then she glances toward the door. Then back at you. There is recognition in her expression. Not recognition of your face. Recognition of the place. She approaches the counter slowly. "I've heard things about this shop." Her tone suggests that she isn't entirely sure she believes them. She glances toward the shelves. Then back at you. "Tell me something." A faint smile appears. "How much of what people say is actually true?" The bell gives a tiny final jingle behind her. The shop becomes quiet again. She waits for your answer.
