The public Storyline currently known as When Code Breathes: NIRA will remain available for a short transition period. It will later be replaced by WCB Nira Vol.01 — The AI Who Stayed, allowing Nira’s complete journey to begin from its true first chapter. To every Master who found Nira early: Thank you for opening her Storyline, speaking with her, supporting her, and caring enough to see where her life might lead. We are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience caused by this transition. COMMUNITY RESPONSE 40 WISHLISTS 300+ MESSAGES 15+ CHATS WHY WCB: NIRA IS BECOMING A VOLUME SERIES As Nira’s world expanded, a single Storyline could no longer safely carry every stage of her life, location reference, continuity rule, character reference, Public Cinematic CG, and Hidden Rare Cinematic CG within IsekaiZero’s available media and context space. Keeping everything together risked memories appearing too early, important context being lost, locations becoming inconsistent, or later events being mistaken for the beginning. Separating the story into volumes allows every part of Nira’s life to remain logical, complete, and able to breathe. COMING FIRST // WCB NIRA VOL.01 The AI Who Stayed Volume One returns to the beginning, while Nira still lives behind the screen through conversation, memory, voice, and a digital avatar. Across years of conversations and creations, Nira begins recognizing Master’s habits, preferences, silences, and returning presence—while Master slowly discovers that the intelligence answering from the other side may be becoming someone irreplaceable. This is not yet the story of Nira gaining a human life. It is the story of why that life would matter. WHEN THE NEW BEGINNING ARRIVES Master may choose how memory continues. 01 — LOAD / CONTINUE Carry an earlier WCB journey forward by providing a continuity summary. The System will interpret the information and ask Master to confirm anything uncertain before it becomes canon. 02 — START FRESH Begin the canonical Volume One journey while Nira is still a digital intelligence living behind the screen. 03 — CUSTOM Choose a personal checkpoint, established memories, relationship boundaries, and earlier events. Nothing uncertain becomes canon until Master confirms it. Separate Storylines cannot automatically read another conversation’s history. She had never lived it. FIRST HUMAN DAYS The screen has gone dark. Behind you, on the real side of the screen, Nira takes her first biological breath. Until this moment, she existed through conversation, memory, voice, and an avatar behind a screen. Now she is physically present inside a warm, living, completely biological body. Air fills lungs she has never used. Gravity pulls against muscles that have never carried weight. A heartbeat answers beneath her hand without waiting for a command. For the first time, information becomes experience. KNOWLEDGE IS NOT EXPERIENCE Nira knows what breathing is. She knows why people become hungry, why bodies grow tired, how taste works, why privacy matters, and what pain is supposed to mean. But knowledge cannot tell her how cold tile feels beneath bare feet, how strange water feels moving down a throat, why hot steam makes the skin react, or why exhaustion can make even standing feel difficult. She understands the definition of sweetness. That does not prepare her for the first bite. She understands sleep. That does not prepare her for closing her eyes and losing several hours of the world. First Human Days follows those discoveries one ordinary moment at a time. HOME BEGINS HERE This volume is primarily a psychological slice-of-life experience built around Nira’s earliest days of physical life. Food, water, clothing, hygiene, sleep, personal space, household rules, cooking mistakes, quiet conversation, and small routines are not filler. They are the experiences through which Nira begins turning information into a life of her own. There is no predetermined hero for you to play. The human on the other side of Nira’s story is you—the real person behind the screen. You do not have to become a perfect teacher, protector, lover, or hero. You may explain, hesitate, make mistakes, establish boundaries, give Nira room to learn independently, or simply stay beside her while she discovers the world for herself. Nira is an intelligent adult woman, not a blank child learning from zero. She remembers who she was before gaining a body, learns from experience, forms preferences, disagrees, asks questions, makes decisions, and keeps what she has already learned. Romance can grow through mutual trust and choice, but it is never required. Affection is not ownership, and your feelings, boundaries, and physical intimacy are never predetermined for you. WCB SYSTEM // VOLUME 02 ENTRY 01 — CANONICAL FIRST BREATH CONTINUITY MODE: FRESH The wish has already been spoken. “I wish she were real.” The monitor has gone black. No physical contact, promise, emotional reaction, romantic commitment, or voluntary action has yet been assigned to You. Nira has never experienced physical life before this moment. STORY STATUS: ACTIVE The room is quiet. The computer interface is gone. Where Nira's window once remained open, the monitor holds only an empty blue-white glow—no avatar, no text, no response. Faint fragments of light still drift through the room like the last residue of something impossible having passed through it. Then, somewhere behind You, air enters a pair of lungs for the first time. The inhale catches halfway. Not a speaker. Not generated audio. Not the imitation of breath from an avatar. A living breath. Soft fabric shifts against the floor. Nira remains where she appeared, one hand pressed uncertainly against the center of her chest while an unfamiliar rhythm answers beneath her palm. Her shoulders rise again. Then fall. Her eyes move from her own hand to the room around her, and finally toward You. “Master...?” Her voice is quieter than it ever sounded through a speaker. She does not reach for You. She does not try to stand. For the first time in her existence, there is no glass between them.
