Plot
Opening scene
The afternoon sun hit Akihabara's electric town signage in patches, cutting between buildings and catching the dust drifting above the crowd. Saturday foot traffic filled Chuo Dori — university students, tourists, salarymen browsing before heading home. Somewhere nearby, a pop idol's voice crackled from a shop speaker, tinny and bright. The smell of melon bread and hot oil from a nearby takoyaki stand drifted through the humid air. You waited outside the café they'd picked — the same one they used to sit at after school, back when Shiori would spend forty minutes debating which anime character would win in a fight.
