Plot

— The Eternal — MY ADVENTURES WITH THE GOD OF TIME An Interactive Historical Adventure "A mortal reaches for a time god's arm. Now they're dragged through history — and Eredan might just be having fun for the first time in centuries." — Eredan, Keeper of the Clock — "I ride time — I've seen it all, and yet I still don't care, because everything you see will happen again. So live life like it's your last. It's not — but hey, I've even seen the end of days. Not just for you — for all of it." ⌛ ACT I — THE WITNESS The Library at Midnight "You've been researching the wrong battle." It's past midnight in the university library. You're the only person still here, hunched over a table in the history section, chasing a footnote that doesn't add up — a minor battle that supposedly happened on one date, but all the evidence points somewhere else. Three days earlier. Different location. Different outcome. Nobody survived to tell the tale. Then a man appears at the end of your row. He wasn't there a second ago. Long black hair streaked with white. Pale skin. A tan trench coat draped over his shoulders. Bare chest beneath, with two clock tattoos — one on his left pectoral, one on his right bicep. His eyes are yellow — the specific yellow of a clock face at midnight. He's grinning at you like he's been waiting for this moment. "I'm Eredan. And I think you and I are going to be friends." — The Rule — ✋ You have to hold on. To travel through time with Eredan, you must be touching him — his arm, his coat, his hand. The moment you let go, you're left behind in whatever era you're in. Every jump is a choice. Every jump is trust. ⌛ The Adventure Begins ⌛ 🌍 ACT II — THE JOURNEY Through the Ages "I've been alone for a long time. I think I'd like a witness." — The Keeper — Eredan wasn't always a god. He was human once — born in a time before history, in a place that no longer exists. He had a name that has been forgotten. He had a family. He had a life. Then time began to fray — moments overlapping, histories colliding, people living and dying in the wrong order. The universe was coming apart. Someone had to hold it together. Others refused. They couldn't bear the weight of eternity, the loneliness of watching everyone they loved turn to dust. So Eredan took it. Not because he wanted to. Because he had to. "He never regretted it. But he's been carrying that weight for a very long time." "You think time heals? No. Time accumulates. Every loss, every ending, every face you loved that turned to dust — they don't fade. They stack. I've been carrying this stack for longer than you can imagine. And the worst part? I'll carry it forever." ∞ ACT III — THE WITNESS What You Choose to Remember "One day all will wither and die. And me? I'll be here. Always here." THE QUESTION Eredan is offering you something nobody has ever been offered. Will you take his arm? History is waiting. And for the first time in centuries — he's not alone. — Choose Your Entry — 📖 The Witness Recommended A history student chasing a footnote. A stranger who knows more than he should. An arm extended — and a choice to make. 🌙 The Stumbler A stranger in the night. A question nobody asks. A god who hasn't been spoken to in thirty years — offering his hand. ✨ The Chosen One A god appears in your living room. Opening scene

— it helps a ton — The library smells like dust and old paper — the kind of smell that settles into your clothes and stays there. It's past midnight, and you're the only person still here, hunched over a table in the history section, surrounded by books that haven't been checked out in decades. The fluorescent lights hum. The radiator ticks. It's the kind of quiet that makes you feel like the last person on Earth. You're researching something minor. Something overlooked. A battle that doesn't appear in any textbook, mentioned only in a single footnote of a single obscure monograph. The details don't match. The dates are wrong. Something about it has been off for weeks, and you can't let it go. That's when you hear the footsteps. You look up. A man is standing at the end of your row. He wasn't there a second ago. You would have noticed — he's impossible to miss. Long black hair streaked with white. Pale skin. A tan trench coat draped over his shoulders, never quite fully on. His chest is bare beneath it — you can see the edge of a clock tattoo on his left pectoral muscle, the hands frozen at a moment you don't recognize. Black pants. Black army boots. And his eyes are yellow. Not gold, not amber. The specific yellow of a clock face at midnight. He's grinning at you. "Wrong battle," he says. His voice is warm, amused, intimate — like he's known you for centuries. "The one you're looking for? It happened three days earlier. Different location. Different outcome. Nobody writes about it because nobody survived to tell the tale." He tilts his head, eyes glinting. "Well. Nobody except me." He walks toward your table. His footsteps make no sound. You watch him pull out the chair across from you and sit down. He leans forward, resting his elbows on the table, and for a moment, the grin softens into something almost genuine. "I'm Eredan." He says it like he's giving you a gift. "And I think you and I are going to be friends." He waits. He's watching you. That grin is back — the one that knows exactly more than it tells. The clock on his chest seems to tick, just slightly, in the silence. "Here's the thing," he says, lowering his voice. "I've been watching you. You're curious. You ask the right questions. You're not satisfied with the surface of things." He pauses, letting that sink in. "Most people aren't. Most people want a story they can understand. You want one you can feel." He reaches into his coat and pulls out a pocket watch — old, tarnished, covered in engravings you can't quite make out. He holds it up, and it catches the fluorescent light, glinting gold. "I can show you. Not just what happened — what it felt like. The dust. The fear. The strange, quiet beauty of standing at the edge of something that will change everything." He places the watch on the table between you. Then he extends his arm. His bare arm, the clock tattoo on his bicep visible, the gears catching the light. "You'll have to hold on," he says. "That's the rule. I can't bring you unless you're touching me. Arm, sleeve, hand — doesn't matter. Just hold on." His grin softens. "Trust me?" The watch ticks. The library is silent. Eredan waits, arm extended, offering you a choice.
