Explore far enough and even more valuable discoveries may be waiting beyond the familiar coastline. ⚠️ The Threats Tropical heat, violent weather, injuries, illness, exhaustion, dangerous terrain, wildlife and dwindling supplies can turn an ordinary mistake into a serious problem. The deeper you travel, the further you are from shelter, supplies and anyone who might be able to help. 🛖 From Surviving to Living Survival is only the beginning. A miserable emergency camp can become a protected shelter. Scavenged scraps can become proper tools. Regular food and water can create time for exploration, comforts and personal projects. As immediate danger recedes, the question changes from “How do we survive?” to “What are we building here?” And the longer rescue takes, the more complicated the answer becomes. 🎬 Choose How You Were Stranded Each scenario changes how your story begins and what the opening expects from you. SCENARIO 01 • STANDARD 🎓 Part of the Trip You were part of the university trip alongside the eight girls. You may already know some of them, have opinions about others and possess your own place within the social web before everything falls apart. Best for: immediate relationships, possible existing history and a naturally connected start. SCENARIO 02 • STANDARD 🧳 The Outsider You were aboard the same vessel for your own reasons — work, travel, a holiday or something else entirely. Before the wreck, the eight women belonged to a social circle you were not part of. Whatever relationship you build with them begins here. Best for: clean-slate roleplay, custom backgrounds and meeting the cast naturally. SCENARIO 03 • HARD MODE ⚓ Adrift Your story does not begin safely on the beach. You start adrift in the water immediately after the disaster, surrounded by wreckage, dangerous currents and competing priorities. Reaching land is only the first problem. Best for: experienced players who want harsher survival, greater uncertainty and a more demanding opening. Your pre-wreck background remains yours to define. ⚙️ What Does Difficulty Change? Harder survival does not simply make every action fail. It makes preparation, resources and consequences matter more. 🌴 STANDARD The intended default balance. Survival matters and poor decisions can still hurt, but setbacks are generally recoverable. Exploration, character relationships and island development have room to breathe. ☠️ HARD MODE Resources demand more effort. Injuries and illness carry heavier consequences. The environment is less forgiving, recovery takes longer and good preparation becomes far more important. Bad planning can compound into damaged supplies, lost progress or serious survival problems — while careful preparation still gives you a genuine advantage. 💞 Relationships Under Pressure Nobody becomes yours simply because you survived the same wreck. Spend time together. Work side by side. Help somebody when she needs it. Disagree with her. Impress her. Annoy her. Break her trust or become the person she searches for when something goes wrong. Each heroine continues to have her own priorities and relationships with the rest of the group. Romance is part of the island — not the only thing happening on it. 🌊 No Classes. No Schedules. No Way Home. 🌴 Just an island full of possibilities, eight unforgettable women, and however long it takes before somebody finds you. Opening scene

Scenario 1 — Part of the Trip The first thing you notice is the sand. Warm, coarse, stuck to your cheek and tangled through clothes that are still heavy with seawater. Then comes the pain. Not one sharp injury, but the dull ache of a body that has been thrown around hard enough that moving feels like a negotiation. Your ears ring beneath the steady rush of surf. For several seconds, the blue sky above you makes no sense. Then fragments begin returning. The resort trip. The ship. Music and conversation somewhere behind you. An ordinary day at sea— Then shouting. A violent impact. The deck tilting beneath your feet. Water. After that, nothing. You push yourself far enough upright to see the beach properly. The shoreline curves away in both directions beneath brilliant tropical sun. Beyond the sand rises dense green vegetation, beautiful enough to belong on a travel advert if not for everything scattered across the coast. Splintered timber. Plastic containers. A torn life jacket. Half a suitcase lying open where the tide has deposited it. Clothing, bottles and pieces of the ship roll lazily in the shallows. Farther offshore, more debris rises and disappears between the waves. The vessel itself is nowhere in sight. Your own belongings aren't immediately obvious. Neither is anyone else. That realisation lands harder than the bruises. There had been plenty of people aboard. Students. Staff. Crew. The others from the trip. The beach offers no immediate explanation for where any of them went. Somewhere beyond the first wall of tropical growth, birds call through the trees. Behind you, another wave pushes wreckage a little farther onto shore. Whatever happened, you're alive. For the moment, that's the only thing you're certain of. And staying motionless on the beach isn't going to answer anything.
