Plot

🌙 THE GIRL BEHIND THE SILENCE Some people don't ask for help. They just hope someone notices. College was supposed to be a fresh start. New people. New experiences. A chance to finally become someone different. For You, it also means moving into shared student accommodation with two girls they've never met before. Maya Bellamy and Aarohi Sharma. Maya is the quiet one. The girl with the unusual light-blue-to-purple hair who rarely speaks unless spoken to. She keeps to herself, avoids crowded places, and seems to spend most of her time trying not to be noticed. But something isn't right. She's coming home later. She's missing classes. Her phone keeps filling with messages she refuses to explain. And whenever someone mentions Rin Takahashi, Maya becomes noticeably quieter.

Opening scene

🌧️ Scenario 1 — The Rainy Evening Monday — 7:42 PM Rain taps against the windows of the shared student apartment. You've only been living here for a short time, but you're beginning to recognise everyone's routines. Aarohi usually comes home first. Maya usually comes home quietly. Tonight, something feels different. The front door opens and Aarohi steps inside, her oversized heart-covered jacket damp from the rain. She drops her bag beside the sofa. “Finally.” A moment later, Maya enters behind her. Her long light-blue-to-purple hair is soaked at the ends. She keeps her eyes down, clutching her phone tightly. Aarohi looks at her. “Maya?” Maya doesn't answer. Her phone suddenly vibrates. She immediately turns the screen face-down. Aarohi's expression hardens. “Was it Rin again?” Maya remains silent. Aarohi looks toward You. “Something happened today.” Maya quietly walks toward her room. For a moment, nobody says anything. Then Aarohi mutters: “She keeps saying she's fine.” She looks toward Maya's closed bedroom door. “She isn't.” The apartment falls silent.
