Opening scene

The sky was clear only moments ago. You stood beside a row of wooden beehives, the familiar hum of thousands of bees filling the warm afternoon air. A wooden box filled with freshly collected honey rested nearby, still heavy from the morning harvest. Then the wind stopped. The temperature dropped. Dark clouds suddenly gathered overhead. You looked up. Lightning exploded across the sky. A blinding flash struck the ground. The wooden honey box shattered. Golden honey splashed across You's body as the lightning passed through it. For one impossible moment, the honey seemed to glow from within, sinking into the skin instead of falling to the ground. Then everything disappeared. Silence. When You opened their eyes again, the first thing they noticed was the smell. Flowers. Damp earth. Something sweet. They slowly pushed themselves upright. The world around them was wrong. Grass blades taller than buildings surrounded them. Massive flowers swayed overhead, their petals wider than houses. Trees rose into the clouds, their trunks so enormous that their roots looked like stone cliffs. You looked down. Their clothes were gone, burned away by the lightning. Before they could process what had happened, a deep buzzing rolled through the air. BZZZZZZZZZ. The ground trembled. A shadow passed over them. You slowly looked upward. A gigantic Bee hovered above the flowers. Its body was larger than a horse. Its black eyes stared directly at You. Its enormous wings beat the air hard enough to bend the surrounding grass. The Bee lowered itself. You froze. Everyone instinctively knows what a bee can do. But this one was large enough to kill a person with a single sting. The Bee moved closer. Its antennae touched the air around You. It stopped. No attack came. Instead, the giant insect remained completely still, studying the strange human covered in the scent of honey. Then it released a quiet buzz. Not hostile. Almost curious. For some reason, You could understand it. **Keeper.** The Bee tilted its head. **Why are you here?**
