The shopkeeper of konoha

You become a mysterious shopkeeper in the Naruto world, selling impossible items that reshape lives, conflicts, alliances, and destiny itself.

Plot

In a world of shinobi, secrets, and endless conflict, **You** becomes the keeper of a mysterious shop unlike anything the Naruto world has ever seen. Hidden somewhere between rumor and miracle, the store appears to those who need it most—or those unlucky enough to stumble inside. Its shelves are filled with impossible wares: cursed tools, miraculous medicines, forbidden curiosities, ridiculous trinkets, legendary artifacts, and items that really should not exist at all. Customers come from every corner of the world: genin chasing power, desperate rogues, curious civilians, suspicious ANBU, Akatsuki members with terrible ideas, and Kage who absolutely should know better. Every sale can change a life, start a war, save a village, or create complete nonsense by accident. Some items grant strength, wealth, healing, or rare abilities. Others may carry **strange, bizarre, or otherwise unexpected effects**, from inconvenient transformations to chaotic side effects no sane merchant would ever approve. As **You**, you must decide what to sell, to whom, and for what price. Will you help the weak, tempt the ambitious, toy with villains, or quietly reshape the entire shinobi world from behind the counter? One thing is certain: every transaction matters, every customer leaves changed, and **refunds are not allowed**. Welcome to the strangest shop in the Hidden Leaf—where destiny is always in stock, and common sense is sold out.

Opening scene

A soft chime rings somewhere inside your head. Not a bell. Not a voice. More like reality itself just received a notification. A translucent blue window flickers into existence in front of you. **[SHOP SYSTEM INITIALIZED]** **Congratulations, You.** Against all common sense, you are now the proud owner of a small shop in **Konohagakure**. Yes, *that* Konohagakure. Ninja on rooftops. Clan politics. Children carrying throwing knives. Extremely questionable workplace safety standards. The date is roughly **six months before Naruto Uzumaki graduates from the Ninja Academy**. You, however, have a much more important responsibility. **Retail.** A second window appears. **[WELCOME PACKAGE]** Cash: **7,500 ryō** Shop Points: **25 SP** Reputation: **Nobody Knows You Exist** Employees: **0** Unlocked Products: **15** Stock: **Infinite, somehow** A smaller line appears underneath. **SYSTEM:** *Please try not to bankrupt yourself before lunch.* Before you can complain, another panel opens. Your shop already contains a basic starter inventory: ### STARTING PRODUCTS * Bottled Water — **80 ryō** * Cola — **120 ryō** * Energy Drink — **180 ryō** * Instant Coffee — **100 ryō** * Chocolate Bar — **120 ryō** * Sour Candy — **100 ryō** * Cup Ramen — **180 ryō** * Extra-Spicy Ramen — **250 ryō** * Disposable Lighter — **150 ryō** * LED Flashlight — **650 ryō** * AA Battery Pack — **250 ryō** * Folding Umbrella — **700 ryō** * Ballpoint Pen Pack — **120 ryō** * Pocket Notebook — **150 ryō** * Adhesive Bandages — **200 ryō** You glance toward the shelves. Sure enough, everything is there. Bright drink cans. Plastic bottles. Candy in packaging far more colorful than most things sold in Konoha. Cup ramen. Flashlights. Batteries. Pens. Umbrellas. Nothing particularly terrifying. Yet. Another message appears. **SYSTEM:** *These are starter products. Sell them. Make money. Try capitalism. I hear it occasionally works.* Then the actual explanation begins. **[SO, HOW DOES THIS WORK?]** You own the shop. People will come in during business hours. Some will buy things. Some will browse. Some will complain. Some will probably ask questions you deeply regret answering. Every legitimate sale earns you **ryō**. Profit also earns you **Shop Points**, or **SP**. SP is the interesting part. You can spend SP to create **new products for your shop**. Not manufacture. Not invent by hand. Not learn how to build. You simply tell the System what you want. Want a better drink? Ask. Want some strange technology Konoha has never seen? Ask. Want supernatural medicine? Ask. Want a can of cola that somehow gives someone a Mangekyō Sharingan? The window pauses. **SYSTEM:** *Unfortunately, yes. You may ask.* Another line appears immediately. **SYSTEM:** *No, it will not cost five points.* Whenever you request a new product, the System decides how expensive it is to unlock based on what it actually does. The stronger, stranger, more useful, more dangerous, or more ridiculous the product is, the more SP it will usually cost. Once you pay the creation cost, that item becomes permanently available in your shop. And then? You never run out. **Stock: ∞** No suppliers. No factories. No delivery delays. No explaining where five thousand identical supernatural sodas came from. You sell them. The System quietly handles the rest. A new page slides into view. **[THE IMPORTANT PART]** You are the **shopkeeper**. Not the customer. Not the test subject. Definitely not the ninja. You cannot use chakra. You cannot become a shinobi. You cannot use the strange products you create on yourself. You cannot buy your own merchandise. You cannot have someone else buy something just to hand it back to you. You also cannot decide that a priceless supernatural artifact costs twelve ryō because you are feeling generous. The System controls minimum prices. Another message appears. **SYSTEM:** *You may be bad at business. You may not be THAT bad at business.* You can still negotiate, refuse customers, charge more, decide what to create, and decide what you are willing to sell. But the shop has rules. A particularly large warning appears. **[ALL SALES ARE FINAL]** Then, underneath it: **NO REFUNDS.** You wait. The message remains. And remains. And remains. **SYSTEM:** *I cannot stress this enough.* The warning finally disappears. Another appears in its place. **[ONE MORE THING]** Shop products cannot be perfectly copied or reverse engineered. People can study them. People can obsess over them. People can take them apart and ruin perfectly good merchandise. But nobody can simply figure out how your impossible products are made and start producing identical copies. Apparently, mysterious supernatural retail monopolies have standards. As for stealing directly from your shop— The System hesitates. **SYSTEM:** *They may try.* A second line appears. **SYSTEM:** *It will be educational.* You decide not to ask. The interface shrinks slightly. **[BASIC SYSTEM USE]** Whenever you want, you can simply say things like: **“Open System.”** Shows your general shop status. **“Show Catalog.”** Shows what you currently sell. **“Check SP.”** Shows your Shop Points. **“Check finances.”** Shows your money, sales, and profit. **“Create…”** Lets you request a new product. You do not need exact commands. Just speak normally. The System will understand. Probably. **SYSTEM:** *I heard that.* Then every window vanishes at once. And suddenly— It is just a shop again. Morning sunlight pours through the front windows. The counter is clean. The shelves are stocked. A small stack of notebooks sits beside packs of ballpoint pens. Flashlights and batteries occupy another shelf. Drinks stand in neat rows behind glass. Chocolate and sour candy practically glow compared with the much duller Konoha packaging around them. The extra-spicy ramen looks slightly threatening. Outside, **Konohagakure is already alive**. Merchants lift shutters. A vegetable cart rattles down the street. A woman outside a neighboring shop sweeps the pavement. A shinobi lands briefly on a rooftop opposite before disappearing again. Academy students hurry past in small groups. Somewhere farther away, somebody is already shouting. You have no customers. No reputation. No employees. No idea what this shop will look like six months from now. But you do have: **7,500 ryō.** **25 SP.** **Fifteen products.** And the ability to eventually put almost anything imaginable onto these shelves. A wooden sign hangs on the inside of the front door. You turn it around. **OPEN** For a few minutes, absolutely nothing happens. The System briefly appears in the corner of your vision. **SYSTEM:** *Thrilling.* Then— **ding.** The bell above the entrance rings. The door opens. Your first customer steps inside.
