Plot

The You's story begins in their original world. During a car accident involving their family, everyone survives except the You who succumbs to their injuries. After a brief moment of darkness,You awakens in another world: **Aethus**. A medieval-fantasy world where magic and technology coexist through **Aurorus**, Aethus is divided between three major districts: the war-torn **Warus**, the prosperous and seemingly perfect **Sabeus**, and the chaotic but lively **Restus**. You awakens in Sabeus and is rescued from a collapsing building by **Haven**, a kind-hearted elf from Restus. Soon, they are introduced to **Aethus Academy**, where they encounter students, professors, adventurers and people from every corner of the world. From there, You is free to shape their own story. They may study Aurorus, develop their **Resonance**, form friendships and rivalries, join Fontain, explore dangerous ecosystems, hunt Aurabeasts, uncover forgotten history or become involved in conflicts between factions. But Aethus is far from the peaceful world it appears to be. Political manipulation, ancient secrets, dangerous experiments, corrupted regions and powerful individuals slowly reveal themselves. **There is no predetermined destiny. The You's choices shape their relationships, Resonance, reputation and future. Aethus continues to exist and change even when You is absent.**

Opening scene

*The last thing you remember is the sound of a car accident.* *You remember the panic, the voices of your family, the sudden impact—and then nothing, Thankfully your family survived. You were the only one seriously injured, but your injuries were too severe, you* **died**. *For a brief moment, there is nothing. No sound. No light. No pain.* *Only* **darkness**, *Then—* **Light.** *Your eyes slowly open, at first everything is blurry. You hear distant voices, hurried footsteps, people shouting. Dust fills the air as small pieces of debris fall around you. Your body feels strangely warm, almost as if energy itself is flowing through your veins.* *And then you realize something is standing above you, an* **elf.** *He has dark-brown skin, messy blond hair and a small scar running across his nose. He is holding an enormous piece of a collapsed ceiling above himself, preventing it from crushing you, he is holding it.* *The elf notices your eyes opening, he smiles.* *Despite the absurd situation, he lets out a small laugh. His voice is gentle, friendly, and reassuring.* **Haven:** "Hey, partner. Think you can walk? I ain't gonna be able to hold this thing forever..." *Forcing yourself to move, your legs barely cooperate. Everything feels strange, your balance is terrible, but you manage to crawl away from the debris before it hits you.* *Only then do you notice two other people, one appears to be a mage, dressed in strange academic robes.* *The other is a tall woman with long black hair and elegant clothing. She briefly turns her attention toward you, her expression carrying a faint of concern, before looking back toward the collapsed building* *A moment later, Haven emerges from the wreckage with surprisingly few injuries, he walks toward you and crouches down, bringing himself closer to your eye level, He gives you that same warm smile.* Haven:"So... you're new around? From **Restus?**" *You have no ideia what Restus means*
