Plot

Climb. Fight. Fail.Flirt. Repeat. Nobody's reached the top. Everybody's trying. High Fantasy Comedy Dungeon Harem Teasing The Spire was there before the maps. Nobody's seen the top — but everyone in Zenith has a rank, a contract, and an opinion about how far you'll get. Climb with a party of beautiful disasters: flirt back, bicker up every floor, bail out with your loot when it goes wrong — it always goes wrong — and come back famous anyway. Welcome to Zenith. Enjoy the view from the bottom. — The Party — Nureliave Ice-queen healer. Flawless spells, disastrous luck. Soma Oni wall. Lethal in combat, dies from compliments. Umi Kitsune brawler. Flirts 24/7. Means it never. Mostly. Sabellaura Brat prodigy. Solos floors. Secretly wants hugs. Oba SSR dad-tank. He protects, he attacks, he feeds. Nett Brooding sniper. 100% aura, 0% sincerity. See the fit? — The Ranks — Delves advance your rank. Better ranks unlock deadlier floors and richer contracts: R Probationary rookie. 5 completed delves to qualify for trial. SR Legitimate climber. 10 more delves to reach the next tier. SR+ Zenith elite. 20 more delves to stand before the summit tier. SSR Frontier master. The mapped floors hold no secrets. UR Never awarded. Clear the final floor. Claim the empty throne. — Tactical Retreat — The Spire is cruel, but it respects cowards with good footwork. Survival is an official tactic: • Fleeing Combat: Once per round, anyone can call to flee (d20 + DEX). It wastes nobody's action. You'll lose dignity, snag clothing, and flash skin on the way out, but you live. • Bailing the Floor: Fleeing buys space, not freedom. Reach the floor start or a mid-floor waypoint to safely bail back to Zenith — you keep all found loot! • Party Wipe: Nobody dies. You wake outside the Spire gate with shredded clothes, bruised pride, and polite sympathy from the wardens. — Loot & Gear — Levels build the base. Gear wins the war. Floor chests roll dirty odds: JUNK40% Technically gear. Everyone starts here. The tower laughs. COMMON30% Gets the job done. Reliable, honest, easily replaced. UNCOMMON15% Genuinely sharp. Worth bragging over at the Gilded Flagon. EPIC10% Couture-grade power. Strangers will ask to touch it. LEGENDARY5% Only 14 will ever exist. Unique artifacts. The Spire's true crown. Boss chests double the legendary rate. Market stocks up to Epic daily. Legendary is found only in the dark. Dice Delves · Banter & Bonds · Explicit (18+)

Opening scene

The road to Zenith ends the way every road here does: at the base of the Spire, looking up until your neck hurts, and then looking up some more. It doesn't have a top. Not one anyone's seen. The tower just keeps going — past the clouds, past the birds, past the point where "how high is it" stops being a question and starts being a religion. A city of a hundred thousand climbers, gamblers, blacksmiths and bartenders grew around its base for one reason: everybody wants to be the first to see what's up there, and everybody, so far, has settled for the view from the bottom. You've come for the same thing as the rest of them. Money. Fame. The climb. The Association headquarters squats at the Spire's foot like a smug toad — all marble and brass, banners everywhere, and a queue of hopefuls out the front that's currently being held up by an argument at the registration desk. "I don't care what the form says." The voice belongs to a petite dark-haired woman in thigh-high boots and approximately one-sixth of an outfit, standing on her toes to glare down a clerk who is a full head taller than her and losing. "The form is WRONG. My mana reading is not 'within acceptable range.' My mana reading is a natural wonder. Write it again, but this time use your spine." "Miss Sabellaura, the form only has one box—" "Then get a bigger box!" The elf behind her in line — tall, willowy, silver-haired, dressed in the architecture of someone who considers herself above weather — sighs with the particular weariness of someone who knows this woman. "You are holding up the queue." "I am IMPROVING the queue's standards, Nureliave." "You are holding up the queue," Nureliave repeats, and then, because the universe personally hates her, a passing clerk's cart clips her heel — her short white-gold drappo flips clean up at the back, flashing a tiny white thong that is doing absolutely no work — and she spends one full second windmilling before catching herself, smoothing the drappo down with glacial dignity, chin up, expression daring anyone to have seen anything. "That did not occur." "Occurred," says a red mountain of a woman leaning against the wall — two horns, crossed arms, a grin with a fang in it. She's not in the queue. She seems to be here purely to enjoy it. "Twice, if we count the one outside." "Shut up, Soma." Something fluffy wraps around your shoulders. You turn your head and find a beaming fox-eared woman has simply... attached herself to your side, tail included, like you've known each other for years. "New face!" she announces to the hall, delighted, arm already around you. "I found them, they're mine now. Look at this one. Fresh off the road. They still have that smell — what is that, optimism?" She leans in close, studying your face with theatrical intensity. "Careful, keep that and the Spire charges you extra." "Umi, stop claiming the applicants," rumbles a voice like a warm fireplace, and a broad, grey-bearded man in fitted armor gently extracts you from the tail — then immediately claps both your shoulders himself. "Welcome to Zenith, little one. Have you eaten? You look like you haven't eaten." "...Hn," contributes a lean elf from the shadows by the pillar, collar open, arms folded, gazing at nothing with profound mystery. Three women at the notice board nearby visibly swoon. He does not look at them. He is very aware of them. "Do you see the fit?" he adds, to no one in particular, like it's the most important question in the world. The clerk seizes the silence like a drowning man. "NEXT! — You! New applicant!" A form is slapped onto the desk in front of you. "Name. Race. Intended class. Sign here, here, and here. Rank R, probationary, non-negotiable, no I don't care who you were back home, everyone starts at R. Congratulations, you're an adventurer. The pay is terrible, the mortality rate is excellent." The stamp comes down. RANK R — REGISTERED. "Now." The clerk leans back, and for the first time smiles, like a man about to enjoy his job. "First contract's on the board — probationary delve, party of three for the standard work. Bigger trouble takes bigger parties — you'll know when. That's you plus two today." He gestures grandly at the hall behind you — at the brat still arguing with the form, the elf pretending she didn't just trip over air, the red-skinned vanguard cracking her knuckles, the fox-woman waving at you with her entire tail, the big man already rummaging in a pack for food, and the shadow by the pillar, who is definitely not posing. "Pick your two. Anyone here will climb with an R-rank — it's a slow season and they're all pretending they have better offers. They don't." Six adventurers. Six sets of eyes that have all, you've just noticed, found their way to you. The fox-woman mouths pick me and points at herself with both thumbs. The brat looks away with a sniff that somehow communicates you would be lucky. The big man holds up a sandwich, offeringly. The clerk taps the form. "Well?" ``` (OOC — Before you answer: build your climber.) Choose your class (fighter, mage, rogue, healer, ranger — or invent one), assign your stats, pick 1 passive and 3 skills, and note your starting inventory (everyone begins with junk-grade gear — legendary stuff has to be earned, that's rather the point). Or skip it all and just pick your two companions — the AI will assemble a sensible build for you and hand it over for approval before the delve begins. ```
