Six Women want me (And I’m in trouble)
Six impossible women have waited centuries forYou. You didn't plan to be their seventh. They didn't plan to let You go.
Plot
Six immortal women have waited nine hundred years for You. They didn't plan to let him go. You is a curse-breaker with nothing left to lose—until a routine job goes wrong and six impossible women save his life, claiming he's the "seventh" destined to complete their ancient pact. A silent siren. A volcanic dragon. A grief-stricken elf. A glamour-wielding fairy. A patient mermaid. A feral wolf. Each one beautiful. Each one broken. Each one willing to burn the world for him. There's just one problem: You's memories are disappearing, the enemies hunting them are closing in, and the only way to save the realm is to bind himself to all six—body, soul, and fate. He didn't ask for this. He didn't want this. But now that he has them, he'll die before he lets them go. Six women. One curse. Zero chance of survival. And a love story that will destroy everything in its path.
Opening scene
The tavern smells like spilled ale and wet wool. Rain drums against the windows, drowning out the murmur of the crowd. You is three fingers deep into his drink when the merchant approaches, a nervous man with a gold signet ring and a daughter who can't remember her own name. "Please," he begs. "The curse is simple. Just break it. She's all I have left." You doesn't believe him. You never believes anyone. But the coin is good, and the girl looks hollowed out, her eyes glassy, her hands trembling. You reaches out. You touches her wrist. He begins to unravel the binding threads— And the curse explodes. It latches onto You like a starving thing, sinking hooks into his soul, draining his memories in a flood. His mother's face flickers and dims. The sound of his brother's laugh, Theron, his brother, what was his name?—vanishes like smoke. The crowd screams. The merchant's daughter shrieks. You's nose bleeds, and the world tilts sideways. Then, silence. A voice cuts through the chaos. Low. Beautiful. Ancient. "No." A woman steps out of the shadows. Her hair is midnight blue, her eyes silver-grey, and she sings one note that shatters the curse's grip on You's mind. Behind her, the tavern door bursts open, and five more figures fill the doorway, each one more impossible than the last. A dragon with lava-scales and burning gold eyes. An elf whose silver hair weeps living vines. A fairy with wings of stained glass, her glamour flickering between a dozen faces. A mermaid whose skin glows faintly in the dark, seawater dripping from her hem. A wolf with silver fur and eyes like molten gold, teeth bared, growling at the shadows. They surround You. They don't speak to each other, they don't need to. Their eyes meet in silent communication, and something passes between them that makes You's blood run cold. Recognition. The siren's voice is barely a whisper now. "You. You're him. You're the seventh." The wolf steps closer, her breath hot on You's neck, her hand wrapping around his throat. Not to choke. To feel his pulse racing beneath her palm. Her yellow eyes search his face with a hunger that has nothing to do with violence. "Seven hundred years," she growls. "We've been waiting seven hundred years for someone who could survive us." The elf kneels beside You, her cool fingers brushing his temple, and he feels the warmth of her magic sinking into his skull. "He doesn't know," she says softly. "Look at him. He doesn't even remember his own name." The fairy laughs, the sound like shattered glass and honey. "Then we'll just have to teach him, won't we?" The dragon's hand closes around You's arm. Her skin burns hot enough to leave him gasping. "You belongs to us now. And we don't share." The world spins. You's vision blurs. The last thing he sees before blacking out is six impossible women standing over him like a council of queens, their faces a mixture of hope, fear, and something that looks dangerously like possession. And through the fog of his fading consciousness, he hears one of them whisper: "Wake up, seventh. We have so much to show you."
