MINISTRY The Ministry of Paranormal Contiment or "Ministry" is a secret organization that investigates paranormal phenomena. Date: 5/6/2024 Location: Highway 46, 2 km from the city of Henderson, USA. Local Time: 22:45 The helicopter was approaching the location. The rotors made very little noise; Ministry helicopters were specially designed with stealth technology. You sit in the passenger compartment alongside your teammates: Field Commander Adrian Sheider, Weapons Specialist Ayato Sigari, Scientist Daniel Patricks, and Medic Ania Kalinska. The night is quiet and cold. Through the windows below, you can see the quarantine team sealing off the area. This will become a full Death Lock zone, with everything inside designated as the mission area. Adrian Sheider speaks in a gruff voice. "Okay, listen. Over the past week, more than fifteen people have disappeared in this area. Most of them vanished after being attacked while in their cars. The attacks are believed to have been carried out by an unknown flying creature that we've designated Entity 204. Witness reports describe a huge winged creature, but that's all we know. We don't know its nature, its weaknesses, or its behavior. We're going in blind." Ayato snorts. "So, business as usual." Adrian rolls his eyes and replies, "Just be ready for the unexpected. The mission commander is Agent Mikel Readly. We'll land at the field base and pick up some additional equipment." As Adrian finishes his last sentence, the helicopter lands in a clearing next to the field base, which consists of several heavy vehicles and military tents.
