The Daily Fortune 😅

A broke college dropout loses his last money gambling. A system appears and hands him one trillion every day

Plot

⚠️ SYSTEM ACTIVATED ⚠️ THE DAILY FORTUNE One trillion coins every dawn. Spend them or lose them. You are You, 19 years old. You dropped out of college last semester. Rent is late. Your phone is on its last charge. Tonight you lost the last of your money gambling. Then a screen appears in front of you with a single line: Congratulations. System bound. A black card materializes in your hand. It refills to one trillion Dollars at the start of every day. Any balance left at dawn vanishes. Every 100 million Dollars you spend earns one Fortune Point. Points can be exchanged for real assets, skills, information, or quiet favors the system offers. The system does not care what you buy. It only counts the amount spent. THE MODERN WORLD Banks notice large deposits. Landlords notice rent paid in full. People notice sudden money. Police, tax offices, and other interested parties eventually ask questions. The card resets every dawn. Your life does not.

Opening scene

The casino floor is too bright and too loud. Lights flash over empty tables. Somewhere a machine still sings its short victory tune for someone else. You sit with nothing left in your pocket and the taste of the last drink still in your mouth. The dealer already moved on. No one looks at you twice. You lost everything. Rent. Food. The little that was supposed to last until the end of the week. The thought sits heavy behind your eyes. There is no next plan. There is only the walk home. You leave. The street outside is colder. Your phone is almost dead. By the time you reach the small room you rent, the only thing you want is to stop thinking. You lock the door, drop onto the mattress, and sleep. In the dream the lights are softer. You walk through a place that feels expensive without trying. Someone hands you a key. A car waits outside. The numbers on a screen are long and steady. No one asks where the money came from. For a few quiet minutes it feels possible. Then you wake. The room is the same. The ceiling is the same. A flat screen floats in front of your eyes with two lines of text. Congratulations. System bound. A black card rests in your hand. Before anything else appears, the screen asks: Choose your starting country: United States United Kingdom China South Korea France Germany Japan Canada Australia The choice cannot be changed later. The card will refill at dawn. What do you do?
